  • Free parking, Domino's Pizza hotspot, restrooms were a little untidy. Chair and umbrella rental was reasonably priced and the attendant was super nice.  more »
  • Free place to park and enjoy the beach, restrooms also in the parking lot and a place to shower off a little before leaving, umbrellas and chairs at the beach for rent.  more »
  • This is one of the few places in the area where your pup can run unleased in the fenced areas. Friendly people are regulars here, and it is always nice to meet new friends. No dogs allowed on the beac...  more »

  • Great beach! A little crowded and parking fills up fast. Great beach for kids. Shallow with gradually increasing depth. Good wave break for surfing. Lifeguards on duty. Sand gets a little hot!
  • Truly a beautiful place to visit in Florida. We lived in Merritt Island for two months this past summer and came to this park a few times per week. The raised platform trail through the hammock is gorgeous. You can go really far out in the water so it'd be great for kids. It's pretty well kept. We had lunch their quite often at the pavilions.
  • I tried this park because the reviews said it was quiet and well maintained. This was my first real visit to an ocean beach. If this is a well maintained beach, I'd hate to see a bad one. There was garbage all over the ground. It was crowded. The showers didn't work or had low pressure so the weren't very effective. The bathrooms were empty of supplies, piled with sand, and one toilet was overflowing. Other than that, the people were fairly friendly and the kids had fun.
  • Parking was easy. Beach beautiful. Lots of life life guards. Clean. Just families having fun in the sun. Perfect. A good swell meant fun in the breakers, and the sea was sooooo warm. Nice having showers to wash the sea off and restrooms to change in. Highly recommended.
  • Great free parking and easy ocean access. Bathrooms were a complete mess, but what do you expect. Other than the bathrooms being scary it's one of the better choices. The nearby beach was quite crowded, but the beach itself was clean, and a short walk got us a less-crowded area.
