  • Absolutely fabulous course the greens are a 10. So much wildlife gators birds galore. And the club house for lunch is great Patty Melt yeah. We play there every visit. The whole course is beautifully ...  read more »
  • This is a wonderful tennis facility. Courts have just been redone. There is also an excellent resturant on the property. It is a great place for lunch after a tennis match.
  • I played the course for the first time last week with some friends. The course has a 27 hole layout. We played the Dolphin & the Lakes. We were all in agreement that the course had a nice layout & all...  read more »
  • Great views and occasional gators. Always a great place to play a round. It is bright though.
  • Best greens I have ever putted on in Florida. Shot a 74 on River-Dolphin, Shot a 73 on River and Lakes, then shot a 39 on the River on my 3 trips there. Saw Big alligators, dolphins, raccoon and all kinds of birds. So far one of my best golf experiences in Florida. Loved it.
  • Terrible attitude.. Called and asked if there was an alternate route, because the road which I know of was closed, and the dude went nuts, told me to read a detour sign ..LOL..
  • The coarse is nice with good greens but the staff ruined the experience for me. Jim Munster in the pro shop was very rude and unprofessional to me and got into an argument with the customer before me. The Country Club should let Mr. Munster go before his attitude begins to affects business for the Counry Club.
  • I've played this course (all three 9's) several times, but have never written a review of it. So I felt it was time. A few things... First, don't let the name fool you - this isn't some ritzy country club, it's a public golf course. The staff is friendly, but won't go out of their way to accommodate you. Then again, you're not really paying for the staff courtesy. The course has looked better, it had evidently rained pretty hard, so it was 90 degree rule, though some of the fairways were pretty beat up. The greens looked good, though I agree with another reviewer that the bunkers were pretty packed down so I treated all of my sand shots as simple pitch shots. Pace of play was a point. We got behind a pretty slow foursome and my Dad and I (my playing partner) finally just decided to pass them. As it turns out, they were all four employees of the course and never made any effort to let us play through. Way to lead by example, guys...fortunately after that, we had no problems not having ever seen another golfer on the Dolphin course. Living in Maryland, I'm used to paying a lot more for a round of golf, so for the price - this is a pretty good deal. It's 27 holes as opposed to 18 most other places, so the players are a bit more diffused. I wouldn't expect a tournament-quality course, but I doubt most who play this course would. For the money, you can't really go wrong, but if you want manicured fairways and greens - look elsewhere.
