  • This winery has delicious sangria! The landscape is so pretty. This is the perfect spot to sit and relax. A must go!
  • Nothing better than a beautiful fall day, live music, and great wine!!! Thank you so much for a fantastic afternoon!!!
  • The grounds are lovely and the winery looks nice on first glance. However, the more time we spent, the less we enjoyed ourselves. It was a beautiful Friday afternoon on a holiday weekend, but they onl...  more »

  • We only had a chance to go to the restaurant for wine tasting and pizza. The wine tasted very cheap (we like sweet, and it was nasty) and the experience of the tasting was just for the waitress/waiter to pour a little into a glass and wait for you to try and then the next. To me it felt more like a bar then a winery. There seemed to be many signs on the property for more things to do at this winery though so maybe there is more excitement in other parts of the winery. The pizza we had was pretty decent.
  • 2 reviews 1.0 star rating 4/23/2016 I tried to book Rustle Hill Winery for an event I was having, for about 30 people. I say tried, because I called their event coordinator, left a voicemail, emailed her and finally called again before I got ahold of her. This unfortunately was a sign of what was to come. She told me that we could have our event outside, in their garden area, and then we could reserve a room for $150 inside, in case it rained. When we got there, I asked about the room and was told that the garden area was $150 to use, and the inside room would be an additional $150. This was directly contradictory to what the events coordinator told me, but our agreement was verbal, so I didn't have any emails to back it up. I tried to clear this up with the manager, who was dismissive, arrogant and all-around unpleasant. He made no attempt to fix the situation, and just flatly told me I was wrong. Horrible customer service. He also did all this in front of my entire party, which was unprofessional and rude. Unfortunately we were locked into this venue, because the event had been planned for six weeks. To top it all off, the wine was sour, thin and tasted like burnt plastic. There are a lot of wineries in Southern Illinois, with better wine and competent staff. Don't waste your money on this one.
  • Great food. Great prices. Nice beer selection.
  • Great if you like sweet wine. We don't like sweet wine.
  • My wife and I just got home from a weekend getaway from Rustle Hill. We enjoyed our stay in their large cabin. We liked the food, sangria and wine. The summer festival bands on Sunday were Great. The girls taking orders and serving worked very hard and were Great, and the kitchen people were very quick to get the food out. Thanks to all who worked this busy weekend. We appreciate the hard work and will be staying again. Mike 7/18- 7/20
