  • This is a beautiful spot in a quiet little town. We love walking on the covered bridge or just looking at the watermill and falls. It's a timeless place. It's worth a visit if you're spending a day in...  read more »
  • Glorious Christmas Lights viewing with the entire family!!! Even off season a marvelous day trip from Columbus!
  • After eating at numerous great places in Yellow Springs we thought the demand for quality dining would make Clifton Mill a natural end of the trip treat. NOT SO! Do not go planning on gourmet food. Do...  read more »
  • I went their this past weekend, and had a wonderful time walking around their property. The covered bridge and the views back onto the mill itself were outstanding. I also had a meal, seeing I needed something to eat to make the return 3 mile trip back down the gorge, and it was a good meal. I had the pancake meal, which by the way are HUGE, and left without finishing them. I will be back again, when I hike the gorge and will definitely bring my kids.
  • Food was decent, historic mill was charming, wait staff looked over burdened and hostess was brisk and even rude as she cleaned tables noisily disrupting a room full of patrons. The restaurant is not what it used to be.
  • I recently moved to the Dayton area and have tried many of the restaurants around here. This is by far my absolute favorite. We arrived mid-Sunday and had about a 40 minute wait. At 6 months pregnant, I just wish there were place to sit while waiting. BUT it was definitely worth the wait. The portions are huge, and I felt like I was eating a home cooked meal at grandma's house. Delicious. For two people, we were served so much food we couldn't eat half of it. And it only cost us $24!
  • Big serving portions. OK view. History site.
  • We arrived at 3pm on Sunday afternoon and the place was not crowded. The hostess was rude and the service was horrible. The food was adequate but not worth the cost. We asked for orange juice and never got it. We asked for mayo for a sandwich and didn't get it until the rest of the table was finished eating. At least the view was good.
