  • On a country drive we made our way to the Clifton Gorge State Nature Preserve. Not the best weather to hike so the drive would have to suffice. One of our stops along the way home was the Clifton Mill...  more »
  • Went for the light display, not the Inn or the food. The display was impressive and worth seeing. The price was a little steep ($10) but not ridiculous. Doesn't have a lot of replay value so not sure ...  more »
  • The mill itself is very nice and a lovely place to stop to see the covered bridge and the mill building (although it would be so much better to have a viewing spot from the covered bridge - they have ...  more »

  • Beautiful building but do not waste your time eating here. Just enjoy the outside. The service was not very friendly and the food took forever to arrive. We only ordered one chicken wrap and wanted to split it. After more than 30 minutes, it finally arrived and then they charged us a split plate fee of $2 Dollars. They said it was for the second plate they brought out. We could have just eaten off of one plate... the wrap was very small the way it was. Definitely a tourist hot spot and they don't care because most people come from out of town. Also, the wrap came with one side of chips but if you didn't want that, you had to pay extra for another side.
  • July 3, 2017. Not worth the trip. Food took "Forever" to arrive. Ordered the sausage sandwich & fries. For $10 I expected better. Sausage patty skinny, small. & dry. Grilled toast, burnt. Fries over done, dry frozen fries that were baked & served cold. Service was great!! Wont return.
  • Delicious food and great atmosphere. I've visited twice now and it has been excellent service from the staff. The food is appropriately priced and the portions are huge. Yes there is a $2 split charge but you're told that on the bottom of EVERY PAGE of the menu. Maybe people need to learn how to read. I can'tcomment on the Christmas lights but will update when I do. Everything is great and if you love breakfast you owe it to yourself to try this place.
  • Restaurant was almost empty at 2:30pm on a Sunday afternoon, yet service was still very slow. We drank from paper cups because we were told there were "no clean glasses ". Took forever to finally get our food. Forget getting re-fills on your paper cup drinks, we couldn't find our waitress with a search warrant. Finally we were able to flag her down from across the room. The fries you have to pay EXTRA for as a side tasted like an employee had run to McDonald's and brought back some fries. Identical cheap, texture and flavor. We will NOT repeat our visit. What a shame to see such a historic place take such a downhill turn.
  • Beautiful mill. Very full gift shop to find a fun piece of home decor. Restaurant onsite. There was a long waiting room so we didn't dine there. See the line for the restaurant made me feel like the food must be very good though! Restrooms were clean.
