  • Fairly average mall. There were a few good shops thrown into the mix a couple of eateries as well. Love the inside path to Q Arena, might take a bit long to get there but at least we are warm!  more »
  • this place use to be awesome - destination stores, great fountains, lots of people. Now its mostly empty storefronts and not the destination it used to be.  more »
  • Y0u can shop, eat, stay at the Ritz or Rennisance Hotels which are connected, go to a movie, or go to Jack Casino. All are connected to Tower City Center. Fancy dining or fast food. train lines and bu...  more »

  • It's a decent mall. I love to go here, once in a while. However, it's, practically, a joke. There are few really good stores. Closing Border's, definitely, wasn't a good move and the sales ladies at Bath and Body Works are annoying as hell. (I'm warning you, now: They're, practically, SHARKS...) They don't have a Hot Topic or Spencer's, either. In my opinion, a mall isn't a, "real," mall, unless they have those stores. Want to go to a really great mall? Go to the South Park Mall. :)
  • I love going downtown and just window shopping. Some of the things are pretty pricey, just because ya know... It's tower city. The food court is dominate by Asian food. They could do better really.
  • I walked in and instantly someone asked me for my id. I'm in my late twenties. Why do I need to show you my id? Because I'm a young looking black man in a privately owned business. I'm not worried. I've crunched some numbers. This place will be shut down if they can't turn it around.
  • This place has been here forever. Such an iconic spot in Cleveland. The Tower lights up at night with Indians, Cavs, Rainbow, etc. colors for certain events. It's always fun to see that. The stores don't stay open too late which can be a bit of a hassle if you're going to shop. But the Gateway walkway starts in the food court area, and it's such a nice and easy walk to the Q or Progressive Field.
  • Absolutely wonderful area to spend time in Cleveland. Full of terrific shopping, great eats and superb hotels; this was a great introduction for a first time visit to Cleveland. I can't wait to go back and explore more, I was shocked at how much the city of Cleveland has to offer!

Where to stay in Cleveland

Most of Cleveland's hotels are located in downtown, though you can also plenty of comfortable and affordable rooms in the city's outlying neighborhoods. Many downtown hotels offer discounted weekend rates and deals that include tickets to some of the city's major attractions, but if you prefer to stay away from the central part of town, consider the neighborhoods east of the Cuyahoga River. Staying in this part of Cleveland allows you easy access to the city's cultural district, renowned for its museums, galleries, and parks.
