  • I'm not sure how many places you can go and see an authentic steam ship with cargo bay area's and Captain's Quarters. Personally I've never seen one in another city so I would say this and the USS Cod...  more »
  • For those folks interested in maritime or Great Lakes history, this is a must see. Other reviewers have noted that the ship was boring and involved going up and down narrow steep stairways. Well folks...  more »
  • Bottom line: Very hot in the summer. Old but nice history. Worth it if you think the admission is going to maintain and help restore the ship. We got these tickets when we bought our Great Lakes Scien...  more »

  • So much fun! My godson had a blast and it's such a fun way to learn a lot
  • Very fun family place. My son and I enjoy going here at least once a year to check out all of the fun things there.
  • I went here on a date with my fiancĂ©e two days ago, and it was a blast! It was just like being a kid again. They have many exhibits and demonstrations that are all fully interactive, which is great for kids and their young scientists' minds. You can let them touch or play on almost anything. I loved the NASA Glen Space section where you could land a lunar lander. Right now they have the Ripley's Believe it or Not exhibit which is just as much a history lesson as a science exhibit, and it too is fully interactive. I highly recommend this for kids, but even adults can have a fun time here.
  • One of our favorite places! My kids want to come back constantly. The staff is very nice and we love to go out on the Mather (the old cargo ship). The Mather has a museum teaching all about the Great Lakes which is very informative and interactive. The science center itself has tons of interactive and fun stuff for the kids to make and do. The Nasa sections are great, they teach so much about space exploration and life in the international space station, timelines of space exploration and more. It is worth it to buy a membership for the year. It pays for itself after two visits and is a great rainy day activity! Since we joined a month ago my kids have already met an Olympic Gold medalist, and an astronaut at special events for members.
  • The Science Center, and the NASA center. and Omnimax are good to see with lots of interactive exhibits as well as places to eat with great views outside! The Steamship William G. Mather is a separate admission but is well worth the extra dollars on a combined ticket.
