  • Love going to the Reservation. I run there often, and bike and hike as well. The trails and roads are well maintained. There is so much variety, from the stairs behind the Nature Center with an awesom...  more »

  • Love it here! I have been riding for almost 2 years now and still is great.
  • My daughter has been taking lessons at Valley Riding for almost seven years and we've had a wonderful experience! From pony camp, to horsemanship and group lessons, the instructors, volunteers and staff have always been so kind and helpful. It's obvious how much they care for the students and the horses. Can't say enough about how great they are!
  • I don't know what alternate reality the previous reviewer is living in, but from my personal experience as someone who takes lessons at this barn, their review is laughably inaccurate. The people who run this barn and lesson program are some of the nicest, most down to earth, least pretentious equestrians I've ever come across. I started riding here several months ago and my experience has been overwhelmingly positive. It's a pretty laid back atmosphere, as they are not really competitive, but I can't imagine a better place in the area to learn the basics of horseback riding. And in regard to the comment the previous reviewer made about how they are more concerned about money than the welfare of their horses - that is just flat out wrong and insulting and is the exact opposite of what they stand for. They have the utmost respect for their school horses and show that by not over-exerting them...they don't even offer jumping as part of their lesson program because of this reason.
