Where to stay in Cleveland

Most of Cleveland's hotels are located in downtown, though you can also plenty of comfortable and affordable rooms in the city's outlying neighborhoods. Many downtown hotels offer discounted weekend rates and deals that include tickets to some of the city's major attractions, but if you prefer to stay away from the central part of town, consider the neighborhoods east of the Cuyahoga River. Staying in this part of Cleveland allows you easy access to the city's cultural district, renowned for its museums, galleries, and parks.

  • I was lucky enough to be able to come here for a watch party during the NBA finals and I was thoroughly impressed with this arena. This place is huge. I would say it's one of the biggest arenas I've been in and is definitely a landmark in Cleveland. The people love the Cavs and it was pretty thrilling to be able to watch a game here and take in the atmosphere. There are huge screens which make it easy to watch the game even if you are high up, away from the court. They are really nice, with crystal clear projections. I didn't get anything from the concessions, but it looked like there were decent options if you wanted to buy anything. I think the hallways and getting to the sections was a little confusing and the hallways appeared kind of old? I don't quite know how else to describe it. Everything else appears pretty modern and I love the hometown vibe of the place. Really nice arena, but it seems a little small inside until you get out into the seats and then you realize the place is actually massive. Still, a great spot to watch a game!
  • Horrible!!! I was absolutely miserable sitting on those hard floor seats. Towards the back you cannot see the stage at all. I ended up going to the lounge half way through the first act and sitting to be even slightly comfortable. And no I don't drink so then I had to listen to the drunks. I will not be returning there for another concert. Paying 150.00 a seat i expected a better experience.
  • Attended the Cleveland Gladiators game. The players and moral squad was fantastic. But the acoustics were horrible. Wear earplugs they have it staged like a concert instead of a ballgame. They cheer you on to make noise but no-one can be heard over their speakers. Change it Gladiator owners and maybe your attendance will Increase. Best wishes!
  • My wife and I went to watch game 4 of the NBA finals and had a great time. The arena was pack and the crowd was alive! The arena didn't offer much as far as choices for food, entertainment and shops but they did a great job offering attendees free shirts, towels and light up bracelet!! Fans were a bit rude with us being fans of the opposing team butg overall were fun to be around. Only complaint is there is absolution nothing to do once the game was over. The area is dead and is in need of bars and restaurants
  • This is an average place to see a NBA game. If the Cavs are great, then it will be really fun. However, if they stink, then the arena's shortcomings shine through. Parking is awful. The eating options are not that great. The bathrooms are not well maintained. Some of the sight lines are horrid. All in all, it is an average arena that is kept afloat by a good franchise in its prime.
