Tourist Spot Arena / Stadium
Consistently considered to be among America's best ballparks, Progressive Field is home to Major League Baseball's Cleveland Indians. Seating more than 40,000 people, the field has hosted the team since its construction in 1994. The modern stadium features throwback and old-style baseball elements, as well as a view of downtown Cleveland. • Absolutely amazing. We parked in the Tower close by and the walk was a breeze...how many ball parks have an indoor walkway from a local parking garage? The concourse was fairly open, not too cramped, and the staff was phenomenal!! We had our 3 month old with us and they really made her first MLB visit a lovely one. They gave her a certificate and let me nurse in one of the air conditioned family restrooms. Seriously one of my favorite ball parks so far!!!
  • This would be a great place to watch a game. But the issue with this stadium is the atmosphere in which the stadium is located. Parking is awful, and there are not many good restaurants located nearby. (Yes, there are chains within walking distance. But these are not good.) Once you are in the stadium, it is very enjoyable. But keep in mind that to enjoy a great game, you should eat before you leave and be ready to search for any overpriced parking you might find. With some effort from the city, this could be a great place to catch a game.
  • Decent baseball stadium. Almost all the good food is down in the 100 level. The location of the box office is probably my biggest complaint. Why would you put it on the side of the stadium furthest from where everyone is parking? It seems to be in the least logical location as it's basically across the street from a highway.
  • Great Stadium with plenty of concession stands. We went on $1 hot dog night. They also had a special for $2 beers (a particular brand - craft beers were normal price.) The specials made this an affordable outing.
  • Great place to catch a game. Very clean, workers are all very friendly. They also have a great food selection and diverse vendors. My one issue was we bought something that was 5.25 from a cash only vendor and he didn't have change so we basically had to pay more than advertised cost. May not seem important, but we could have bought the same thing from a vendor that accepted credit cards and not be tipped off.
