Progressive Field, Cleveland

4.6
Consistently considered to be among America's best ballparks, Progressive Field is home to Major League Baseball's Cleveland Indians. Seating more than 40,000 people, the field has hosted the team since its construction in 1994. The modern stadium features throwback and old-style baseball elements, as well as a view of downtown Cleveland. Join a guided tour for an up-close view of the batting cages, the bullpen, the team suites, and the Indians' Hall of Fame Museum. However, keep in mind that these tours are not offered daily, as they depend on the baseball schedule. Check the team's schedule to see if you can catch a game while you're here. • Easy too get in and out, very accessible stadium. The food and drink choices were pretty good, though a little pricey (even for ballpark food).  more »
  • This is one of my favorite ball parks. It’s right downtown and easy to get to know matter where you are staying. The ticket prices are reasonable and the food choices are better than most parks. Team ...  more »

  • There is nothing quite like an Indian's game. There is a stadium culture and amenities are amazing. It is worth your time and money to look into (1) batting practice before a game, (2) dining at the Terrace Club, (3) checking out other specialty restaurants in the stadium, or (4) purchasing club seats so that you can try all the flavors of the stadium. At times, the Indians don't play up to their potential, and on TV you only get the loss. But everyone wins in the stadium.
  • Absolutely amazing. We parked in the Tower close by and the walk was a breeze...how many ball parks have an indoor walkway from a local parking garage? The concourse was fairly open, not too cramped, and the staff was phenomenal!! We had our 3 month old with us and they really made her first MLB visit a lovely one. They gave her a certificate and let me nurse in one of the air conditioned family restrooms. Seriously one of my favorite ball parks so far!!!
  • Love to see The Tribe play! The price of tickets now are pretty high, in my opinion, even for nosebleed seats. Not to mention the price of concessions - ridiculous! Not really family budget friendly. You have to go through metal detectors at the gate now, which I understand, but when exiting these aren't movable so they are a real hinderance when the mass exodus occurs at the end of the game. We were leaving the game and the gate was actually locked, causing a massive jam of people - very dangerous! The park has some great promotions though (the fireworks are amazing!) and, in spite of the cost, it is a lot of fun!
  • This would be a great place to watch a game. But the issue with this stadium is the atmosphere in which the stadium is located. Parking is awful, and there are not many good restaurants located nearby. (Yes, there are chains within walking distance. But these are not good.) Once you are in the stadium, it is very enjoyable. But keep in mind that to enjoy a great game, you should eat before you leave and be ready to search for any overpriced parking you might find. With some effort from the city, this could be a great place to catch a game.
  • This ballpark has to be one of the best I've visited. The fans were awesome considering we were rooting for the opposing team, and best of all the field was easily accessible and not far from the parking garage. I will definitely revisit!
