  • The Aquarium is relatively small, but some interesting facets. Everything looked somewhat improvised, what but not really detracted the joy about the colorful animals. Measured no more than 3 star can be given to the standard with other.

  • I received free tickets from my employer. I would not pay the admission prices here. It's not worth it. It took maybe 45 minutes to make our way through. It would be a better idea to go to the Clevela...  more »
  • This aquarium was quite small and kinda expensive . But we always go to the aquarium with our kids and we enjoyed this one . The exhibits are small and don’t have a lot of information posted. It was s...  more »

  • The shark tube was really nice. This seems to be a fairly standard feature in aquariums I've visited in recent years, but a great one. I mean who doesn't like to have sharks swimming over head while being perfectly dry. The other exhibits were well maintained and cool. It felt like there could have been a little more to see. Only one octopus that I've found, a nice pet the stingrays tank, and a less then spectacular petting pond for kids left me wanting more. We did hit at shark feeding time and it was squid day, so there was lots of action. At the end of the day we saw a bit, but more would have been better.
  • Great little aquarium with huge viewing tunnel. If you are driving by this place, stop and check it out. Old building beautifully restored. You will pay a couple bucks or so to park in the lot right where the aquarium is. I think it was 6 or 8 bucks to park and just shy of $20 per person admission into the aquarium. They do offer Military and first responders discounts... so, all you police, fire and EMS guys get a few bucks off (Thank you aquarium admin). Seniors are discounted as well. I was not disappointed with our visit and we drove from Michigan just to check out the aquarium. Readers... if you're into cool aquariums, this place is neat and awesome for the price and location.... but also (in your travels) check out the Chattanooga aquarium and the Georgia Aquarium... very neat HUGE places! Thanks Greater Area Cleveland Aquarium... we truly enjoyed our visit!
  • This is my favorite of any aquarium I’ve ever been to! Please don’t let the price deter you! It is small compared to other aquariums but impressive nonetheless. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, the whole time we were at the string ray touch pool a staff member was conversing with us and telling us so many interesting facts! The smaller touch pool was fascinating too. They have cleaner shrimp who will come to your hand and try to “clean” you. The shark tunnel is amazing! After we walked through it we sat at a bench and watch the fish swim in the large tank for nearly 20 minutes. I wish we lived closer, I would definitely buy a season pass and be there all the time.
  • I love this place. I do think it is expensive, compared to the size. It is a great experience. I did expect more for the money that was spent. Another issue was I found the labeling of the fish not clear. Sometimes I couldn't find a sign with what I was looking at. I would have also appreciated more facts written with the species name on the exhibit.
  • This is a great place to visit. If you have not been, go. At least once. The tanks are awesome. Watch out for the first real tank you see. Fish look like they want fingers.
