  • My wife and I were in Cleveland for a Saturday wedding, so on Sunday we decided to check out a few areas around Cleveland. Edgewater Park is the first place we checked out, and we sure are glad we stopped by! We don't live near the Great Lakes, so it's always fun to hang out at the lake and listen to the choppy water crash against the rocks. As a photographer, I really appreciated the numerous photo locations available. If I lived locally, I could definitely use the park for portrait sessions. I shot a few photos on my film camera while there. The park was pretty clean, with a number of other families walking around. It was a cool day, so I'm sure there it would have been more crowded on a warmer day. Edgewater Park is definitely worth checking out!
  • If you haven't been to Edgewater in a while, it's much improved over what it used to be. It could always be a bit cleaner but it's not terrible. I feel very safe taking my 3 year-old here. There are attentive lifeguards on duty as well as the presence of patrolmen on horseback along with maintenance crews. The views are spectacular and we always have a good time here.
  • The beach has really come a long way since the Metroparks took over, the sand is raked and clean every night, the water along the beach has been cleaned up a lot as well. The dog beach is exciting and also clean, the guards walking around on the dog beach have their own dogs to walk around and let play in the water and sand which is absolutely adorable
  • The park is getting built up more and more, and the maintenance has been well done the last few years. It's a great park and getting better.
  • Lovely views. Great location. Concession (seasonal), beach, walkable pier and exercise stops. Lower and upper sections.
