  • Visited with my wife and 2yo daughter. Very accesible for young kids with many interactive installations.

  • Excellent for kids, right by a park that is also good for kids, and right next to the FREE art museum. Which isn't great for young kids but if they are all potty trained it's a good place, little boys will love the armory.
  • Not quite the Smithsonian, but nevertheless a good way to spend a few hours on the weekend. The entrance fee is a bit steep, but I was able to get a "park hopper" discount by using my Botanical Garden membership card. Some of the exhibits, including the dinosaur wing and the section devoted to various indigenous peoples, look like they haven't been updated since the 1950s, and the outdoor animal exhibits are small and depressing. However, the gemstone and geology rooms are cool, and the rotating exhibits are sleek and modern and feature some fascinating science and history (the most recent exhibit was a look at poisons in the natural world and human civilization). Furthermore, while there are several parts of the museum that are oriented towards children (indeed, the museum is often overrun with school groups), there are just as many things for adults to enjoy.
  • Great time though A bit pricey. Parking $10, adults $15, and $10 for kids. We did have a great time and our 4 year old loved it. Some of the computer stuff is outdated but it looks like there are on going renovations, so maybe they will be replaced. The people that work there are great. Also there are free refills on the drinks from te cafeteria. Go enjoy yourself!
  • Smead Discovery Center is a great place to let my toddler explore. University Circle - Midtown is a beautiful mix of historic and modern architecture.
  • This is a cool place to check out. Enjoyed the newly renovated outside section.
