Xavier Roberts converted an old clinic into a facility from which to sell his dolls, originally called "Little People." The facility is presented as a birthing, nursery, and adoption center for premium Cabbage Patch Kids. Although the fad surrounding the dolls has largely died down, Babyland General is still heavily trafficked by diehard fans and curiosity seekers.New locationThe Babyland General Hospital looked to move into a new $2.5 million "Babyland General" in either Helen or Cleveland, Georgia as revealed in the White County News Telegraph. • This place is actually more of a store for the dolls than anything, but it's set up like a hospital in the beginning and then transitions to a school by the end so it's more fun to wander through. The...  read more »
  • A must see if you have children more for little girls not boys . Because it mainly dolls . You can take pictures also enjoy
  • We went here thinking it was an attraction but it is just a store for cabbage patch kids. That is 20 minutes of my life I regret that I will never get back.
  • This place is amazing! We drove all the way from Nashville and we were not disappointed. Nurse Emma helped my daughter "adopt" her new cabbage patch baby today. She was so helpful and the absolute cutest thing in her scrubs. Nurse Karen was kind of rude, but other than that, so many good vibes here! Definitely recommend the drive!
  • I'm a grown woman and I get a kick out of going there. I like watching the little kids shreak with joy and happiness and laughter. It's fun! There's so many interesting antique stores as you ride around and restaurants with homemade Southern cuisine and sweet ice tea. Just let your inner child out and enjoy!
  • My wife and I HIGHLY recommend bringing your kids and/or grandkids here. It's away from most major cities but well worth the drive and even if you aren't impressed as we were, the scenery on the drive here was worth the drive. You can't go wrong on this visit. The staff is friendly and the prices on the toys are reasonable, not to mention the excitement the kids experience. Well worth the trip.
  • Took our girls here a few years back. It was very nice, the kids loved it. Dolls were a little expensive but, they were very nice. We will definitely be back.
  • This is a great place to take your kids. My daughter loved our visit there. Careful though, you'll fall in love with those little dolls. They are just so darn cute. This is free, and there's nobody pushing you out the door. Plenty of sitting places so you can rest, also.
