Played this course - well gave up after the first half and although the green fee was only $12 plus tax per person, it was not worth it!, The fairways are the worst we have seen there, the greens are ... read more »
This course used to be one of our favorite venues in the Orlando area. However, it is now in such poor shape that even at $20 per person, it's not worth it. The tee boxes are covered with weeds and th... read more »
well....... yes.marginally, the staff were much improved, especially the more senior gent who gave us a very warm welcome. Sadly some elements of the course were not improved, some very patchy fairway... read more »
Travel all the way from North Florida to play the course 4 times. Good course to play and a test of ones golfing abilities. However, the last round was a little disappointing. Understand the course is under new management and, in my opinion, the course shows it. From the lack of items in the Pro Shop to the shape the course is in (Weeds growing all over the Tee Boxes and Shape of some of the Fairways) the Course has been in better shape. The Greens had been recently Aerated and look to be in good shape considering the recent maintenance but earlier rounds of golf certainly had the course in better shape. Recommend to play to course it will certainly challenge ones ability in golf.
I play this course regularily. Course is generally in good shape and staff is friendly. My complaint is the management. Pro shop and washroom access is closed daily at 3:00pm although golf is available 7:30am to dusk......Resturant is open only from 11am to 3 pm with exception of Thursdays when resturant is open 11am to 8pm. Patrons & golfers "rounding the 9th hole" at or later than 3pm have no access to washrooms, food or beverage. This is poor and inconsiderate management. It could be simply and effectively rectified to the financial gain of the golf course and patrons. Hoping that this message will land on the right "ears"
Great golf course for the price--with the rolling hills in Clermont, you'd think you're in the Carolinas. One beef, they need to fix the driving range and practice area. Need new practice range balls--these look like they've been around waaaay toooooooo looooong. Other than that, the course is a nice design and in good condition. Greens have improved considerably since last year.
The course looked as if it had zero maintenance. The greens were very poor, some of the fairways had little grass and generally the course just looked completely neglected. We (4) played on 1-30-2016 and it was our 19th game on our four week golf holiday here in Florida. Will not be back as this was the worst course we have seen.
great layout, kudos to the golf course arch.who drew it up. to bad the mgmt.co doesn't do a better job maintaining the course.with some attention to detail, this is one of the best layouts i've ever played.a must play regardless of the poor conditions.
