  • We had a lovely time and left feeling like we made new friends. Child friendly but interesting to adults who enjoy history. We went to the museum next door as well, Big Bear. Make sure to pop into the gift shop next to the jail for hand crafted jewelry, leather pouches/ historical reenactment gear, antiques and general junk.
  • As a European citizen i knew TX from the media and the comics and movies. Wow, i learned a lot during this visit. I am impressed by the history and the proud of the Texans. Very nice people working there, this place is in my heart ... TX too :-)
