  • Well maintained park. No Verizon or satellite reception because of numerous trees. Trash cans only at front gate. No water at campsite. Scattered restrooms, mainly pit toilets. Wonderful tent...  more »
  • All started well. My 8 yo and I were going to kayak and my husband was taking the 3yo on a boat rental. Just a regular boat you row. He meets up with us and stated this boat is taking in water. Then.....  more »
  • We planned a family reunion at Siloam Springs and my husband wanted to camp, he is from this area and camped here as a kid. So we reserved first the cabin, but changed our mind and brought a tent...  more »

  • Road closed (bridge out) two miles south of the park entrance on the west side of the park. Park very nice and not over crowded, even on a holiday weekend. Only problem is so many dogs brought camping that are not trained to accept people, vehicles and other dogs without barking. Spoils the peace and quiet for the rest if us.
  • I spent the weekend camping here with four friends. Lots of pine trees in the camping area which worked perfect for one friend and I who hammock camped! There were several water spigots through the campground which were nice to use for cleaning cookware. The shower house had hot water and was in better shape than I would have expected for a state park campground. There are lots of trails, deer/wildlife, a bow range, and a lake with boat rental. The trails had a few spots that could use work on their bridges and steps but overall nice trails. The staff were very friendly and I would definitely go back.
  • First time camping here was beautiful. Sites were nice, gravel and level could stay in pines or oaks. Lake was great and campground quite and secluded. We will stay again.
  • Nice place to hike, but is often muddy in many areas. Wear good shoes. There's a dam and lake where you can rent canoes, there's a small general store too. Several hiking trails of varying lengths, and a pretty drive if you don't want to get out of the car. There's a playground, picnic shelters, grills. Restrooms. My kids love the one where we have to cross the creek, they always stopped to play in the water. There's a lot of history there to, it used to be a town, there are still remains of the hot springs/hotel, and part of the old cemetery. The place is a lot of fun to explore and hike around in either for an hour or all day long. Something for everyone!
  • We love this place, it's a great campground right next to the Current River. Shower, restrooms and awesome exhibits and stories at the amphitheater.
