We went expecting a good deal but found it rather disappointing. Lake area with trailers, some boats and not a lot of great trails.

Amazing scenes, great campsites, and Ranger programs. All of the Rangers are Very nice , and engaging. The campsites all have fire rings, there was some fallout from the pine beetle but many of the sites still have trees either coming back or other species. Motor boats are allowed on the lake, but can also be rented from the Marina. The Marina store also has allot of supplies at surprisingly low prices. There are Power lots available for you RV people, and Limited Cabins can be rented from the Marina, although they run at around $90 a night. There is a great swim beach , and lots of hidden coves for some great fishing.
Clean public areas, nice tables, etc. Good fishing, not quite excellent. averaged 13"-16" trout with line from shore. Very quiet when I was there.
A great stop in northern Colorado. It is sometimes a little more crowded than other area lakes, but it has not been too bad.
Beautiful! Great location with good facilities.
Fun place for family to enjoy cooler weather. Not too crowded.
