  • My family (with college-aged son and daughter) just returned from a beautiful week at ERGR. Our stay was wonderful in every respect: Bex and Scott were warm hosts, supporting us every day in the activities we sought to do. We rode several times on gorgeous trails and the best horses. We felt very safe on Bill, Chunk, Amos and Whiskey -- incredibly sure-footed, steady, and responsive horses. Kayaking on Pearl Lake was relaxing and beautiful; hiking up Hahn's Peak was a challenge well worth it; heading to the hot springs outside Steamboat was also a fun excursion. Our overnight camping trip mid-week was surreal - tents & sleeping bags were set up and campfire blazing when we arrived on our horses, followed by s'mores, great conversation, starry skies, and full breakfast around-the-campfire in the morning. We looked forward each day to three delicious meals enjoyed in the most cozy settings - indoors or on the patio early evenings. Our cabins were clean, comfortable, homey. All in all, the whole ranch just buzzed with such harmony - from our hosts to the most-gracious staff, horses, lodging, the land - truly a most memorable vacay.
  • We had our family reunion here & we couldn't have been happier with Bex, Scott, Jean, Ben & I can't believe I forgot the cooks name! She was awesome!!! Guesthouses where comfortable clean & felt like home. Beds are good. Horses are great, well trained & Bex does a great job putting the right person with the right horse. My family and I highly recommend ERGR to all lovers of horses, mountains, rivers, Great food, stories around open pit fires and some of the best people you'll ever meet. Really hope to go back one day for another week of that kind of fun!
  • Bex our guide was absolutely wonderful. My best friend and I are in from Boulder and neither of us have been on a horse in many years. She took great care of us, matched us with wonderful horses and gave us a refresher on riding. The trail was beautiful and we had an amazing time! Thank you! We will deff be back!
