This was the first "thing to do" on our list this weekend. It was on the way from home to Tulsa and we are both fans of Will Rogers so we said "What the heck!" and headed that way. The museum and grou... read more »

This is an incredible place. I spent hours just listening to the exhibits. There are speeches he made that are so point on for today's society. The other exhibits show the joy that he gave the country and the love they returned to him. Truly a great experience.
What an amazing Memorial/Museum. Truly tells the story on his life with artifacts and propaganda from his career as an actor, comedian, cowboy, writer, and talented with his Rope and Lasso. Quaint town with small hometown feel. Antique stores anchor almost every store in Claremore downtown. Absolutely loved this Memorial. Perches itself at the top of the hill in the town. Rogers State University Campus is across the street. Hit the Antique stores East from RSU.
I have been to this museum many times since I was a child, and I love it as much now as the first time I went. Will was an incredible man and this museum helps his memory live on. A must see even if you are not from Oklahoma!
This is one place you've got to see!. It is probably the best museum I've ever been to. It depicts the life of a man that I have to admit I'm a big fan of but nobody can't help but like. We could use Will Rogers today and this museum helps bring Will to the world. The staff is about as helpful as I've ever seen. Real hospitality. They'll even show you a different movie if you want to see one that isn't scheduled that day! With only a $5 admission fee, you can't beat it)if you're a Friend of Will Rogers member, admission is free). A real uplifting experience for me to say the least.
Loved seeing Will's saddle collection, his quotes, and everything about this museum. Stop by and visit then go see his house out by Lake Oolagah. It's beautiful in the fall.
