  • We enjoy taking our grandson there. He loves to play at the covered bridge and play in the creek. There are grills and picnic tables down by the creek. It is just relaxing and peaceful. I take a book ...  more »
  • Neat historical site that is worth the visit. Has very good information on site, and pic-nic areas. No bathroom facilities on site.  more »
  • This attraction is only a couple miles off of I-40. Directions are clearly marked by signs. Definitely worth checking out. There are no restrooms. There are picnic tables.  more »

  • Wonderful historic place to visit. More for adults than children, but kids can have fun with it as well.
  • Pretty amazing covered bridge that is over 100 years old. The last of its kind in the US built in such a way. It's on a list for examples of historical engineering feats. Too bad it's covered in graffiti :(
  • I had 99 year old mother with me. Would have been nice to park closer but sign blocked driveway.
  • Pretty cool. Saw a lizard and a snake skin whole walking from the parking lot to the bridge too!
  • I could have swore the bridges were covered because the horses were scared to cross, shows how bad certain myths spread. The wood is still in very good condition for its age.
