Washington Park is an important civic space in the heart of Cincinnati that has evolved over the last 150 years to accommodate the needs and aspirations of the community. The latest improvements came as a result of a unique partnership between the Cincinnati Park Board and the Cincinnati Center City Development Corporation (3CDC). Working together, the two organizations engaged in a community-based master planning process to create a new plan for the park in 2007. The vision which emerged not only preserved what is unique and special about the park, but also added new amenities to support the revitalization of the neighborhood.

  • The park is nice and there are a lot of events held here with live music, etc. This park has a lot of history that you would learn about on any Cincinnati tour.
  • I decided to go to Washington Park when they have JAzz in the Park. It was wonderful. Now that it has been remodeled it is a very nice park. Before the remodel I would not go to Washington Park. Now I...  read more »

  • Since the renovation, Washington Park has become a great place for family fun and adult activities. With an outside bar for the grown ups, a splash area and play ground for the kids and a wonderful dog park for the four legged fur babies. With lots of green space for lounging around or a pick-up game of kick ball, music events, group workouts and movies on the lawn you will be guaranteed a fun filled day exploring this gem in the heart of Cincinnati's Over The Rhine District.
  • Nice park to enjoy a day out with kids or just to relax. Like the outside bar ideal when it's open. Doggie park sand for the kiddies and water sprayers in the warmer days. Always great events happening there that are free! Parking overly priced $10. Love when the food trucks are out. The park is kept clean even the homeless are interactive not scary to be around. Pack your picnic and enjoy the day out with you friends and family. Get your free workout in as well. Check out their events page always things going on.
  • What a great park! So many people enjoying so many activities! Kids playing in the fountain, people doing aerobics on the field, and beautiful gardens all around. The off leash dog park is amazing, with a water feature and nice features for doing business.
  • First time take my 3 1/2 month old Shepard. A lot of different dogs all sizes. Overall a great experience everyone was very friendly. Dogs love it there. Little water stream the dogs like to play in. Will for sure be going back there!
  • Busy park with a dog area. I went here for the Asian festival.... food was good but that had little to do with them. Well organized event though and I'm sure some of that was them. Parking below the park and many places to walk for food or a beer. I actually use the parking fairly often for places nearby.
