  • 12 oz steak medium rare doneness is exquisite. In the flesh firm and high satisfaction. In 20 high-value $. Smaller size 18 is $ also. Shops were rebuilt the Church offers better atmosphere. It is useful to go by car, parking is nearby.

  • Came back-to-back weekends. First trip was in group of 7, could not find a place to eat on Saturday evening in OTR under 2.5 hour wait, but we got in here a little later no problem. Large long tables ...  read more »
  • The food prices are reasonable and I have enjoyed all my orders so far. This is a fantastically renovated church with two or three dining/drinking levels. The flights are priced very fairly. The barte...  read more »
  • Very good beer, enough to justify the visit. The "special" Presidential pulled pork sandwich was anything but, however; adequate, fine, but totally unremarkable. The alehouse salad, with candied walnuts and green beans, is both tasty and filling. I probably should have ordered that with tri-tip instead of wasting my lunch on the pulled pork.
  • Great brewery. They have a delicious stout called Culebra cut, and I highly encourage you to explore their other great options. Large open area and quick seating. The plates are huge and a great price. Staff is super friendly and attentive.
  • Opt for Christian Moerlein or Rhinegeist if you're looking to hang out and have some brews... I came here for the first time, right after work, for a coworker's birthday. Plenty of open seating, but almost every table had a "reserved" sign. Our group of 10+ sat at one of the only open tables, and we were kicked out within minutes of sitting down (rudely I might add) even though there was plenty of open seating for the party of 4 taking our place. It's because we weren't ordering food (trying to just drink beer at an ale house? Get outta here!). I did find out there was a really nice place for us downstairs, but the wait staff was too incompetent, impatient, and rude to direct our party there... Oops. I would have spent double what I spent today, if not more (on not just beers, but most likely some food!), but now I'll never spend another dollar here. Customer service goes a long way, Taft's Ale House, just saying...
  • If you wan to impress your out of town friends take them here. It's gorgeous. They put a ton of $ into this place. And def. try the tri tip. It's delicious. Their beers are good and getting better. My only complaint is the place can get loud when it's crowded.
  • Great time, good beer selection and amazing architecture. Highly recommend as one of your stops touring the micro beer & craft cocktail scene in Cincy's OTR.
