  • We dined at Taft Ale House. They did a lovely job restoring the space as it was originally a church. You sit at long tables downstairs, or there are some individual tables upstairs. It is a very noisy...  more »
  • Taft's is very popular (on 12/26/2016, 2pm) it was very busy and we had a 40 minute wait....but it was worth it....with only one 'glitch' that I am not holding againt them. Our waiter, Alex, was very ...  more »
  • Really enjoyed great beers. Started with trial beer set of my 5 choices and identified my full size beer. Having great beer and meal in classic high ceiling hall was something very special and truest ...  more »

  • I've been here at least a dozen times and I'll definitely keep going back. The service is excellent, the food is quite good, and the beer is amazing. The amount of their own beer they always have on tap is impressive and the selection varies enough that I can always try something new (but can also stick with my favorites). Not to mention the space, it's beautiful and offers a ton of seating. With bars on all three floors there is usually a place to sit. Highly recommend buying a piece of Taft's apparel and going on Tuesday. They offer heavy discounts on beer as long as you're toting something from Taft's.
  • The architecture is worth stopping in even if you don't grab a bite. The main floor feels like a nice open beer hall and you can still see remnants of the church organ. The Taft's Tub of Love appetizer was great as was the chicken & avocado salad. Finally the beers were both very inventive but we'll balanced.
  • Very popular on a Friday night but with open table app we were seated almost immediately. Shared a long bench table with other parties. Beer was quite excellent. Food was good although photos on their website were more helpful than image free menu. Service was good for being very busy.
  • Any words I put here will fail to adequately describe this beautiful place. The only history I know is that it used to be a church. I look forward to many more visits to learn about its roots. While I'm there, I might as well continue to work my way through their delicious menu and brews!
  • Great brewery. They have a delicious stout called Culebra cut, and I highly encourage you to explore their other great options. Large open area and quick seating. The plates are huge and a great price. Staff is super friendly and attentive.
