  • My wife and I love coming here and either going for a walk by the river or sitting on the swinging benches to watch the river go by and to talk on sunny days. Three points of interest, first are picnic tables on Rails that can be moved together and apart depending on the size of your group. That is a cool idea. Second there is a very beautiful indoor carousel close by. As I recall it is $5 per adult per ride, it is a fun thing to do. There are also piano keys on the ground in the park that play notes on a chime when you step on the keys. I can never see things like that without trying to play Doe a Deer from The Sound of Music.
  • I love what the city of Cincinnati did with this area. On a nice day you will find the business people eating lunch outdoors, families coming to visit, kids playing in the fountains and other many fun scenes you'd expect from a beautiful well run city. There is a lot to do and see - many of the attractions are interactive and really peak the interests of young kids.
  • Very friendly place. Parking can get expensive if you go around the time of a game (some places were charging 10 to $20). If your willing to walk two blocks there is $5 parking towards the lower bridge area (past the stadium). It's a great place for families or date nights. There is a carousel that's available until 4 p.m. (check website for dates). In addition, vendors throughout the area are set up to sell you delicious snack options. The view of Kentucky right across the water is also nice. On a hot day you will definitely need an umbrella or a ton of sunscreen lotion, due to the sunny open atmosphere. The best part about Smale Riverfront Park is the price tag- free. Overall, plenty to do, see, and lots of fun for people of all ages. A great tourist attraction. I appreciate you for taking time out to read my review. I hope it was informative.
  • Unique park, gets you close to the river. Has unique playground equipment. The park is separated with an exercise playground for 13 and up as well as a nice playground with many slides for little ones. Nice walking, running, biking trail. Easy walk to from downtown.
  • Smale park is at its best at Dusk. The kids playing around with the available natural light and the well lit up stairs, balcony and carousel across the street add some character and ambience to the place. The Roebling Bridge looks majestic and people of all age wearing a warm smile while leisurely strolling around. The dancing fountains, the carefree swings and the mist from ground within. What makes it a joyous experience is the blend of music, mirth and laughter. Atreat to every human senses
