Inspirock Rating:
4.3/5 based on 800+ reviews on the web
Attend a free concert, admire the centrally located fountain, and gaze at the giant LED screen at Fountain Square. The center of the city’s civic, social, and commercial life, the square features water jets spouting from the floor that kids can run through, restaurants and pubs, plenty of tables and chairs, and an ice rink in the winter,. The 13 m (43 ft) bronze fountain in the middle of the square displays four figures representing the four principal uses of water--steam, water-power, navigation, and fisheries--around one central figure. If you need refreshment, lap up spouts of fresh water--the piece was designed as a drinking fountain. Park your car in the garage under the square for a fee, or lock your bike to the complimentary bicycle racks in the square. • Happening place in Summer and fall. They usually have real good events going on most of the times. There are chairs and tables just to sit around and relax. Well maintained. A good spot to visit on Cincinnati. A happening place. Not much to offer in winter, except for the ice rink that will be put up in November, that's fun too. There is famous Graeters Ice Cream, Bid digital Screen where many times ball games will be played.
  • This is such a fantastic place with so much history! If you climb up the stairs, you can read all the different stories engraved in the monument. It is in a convenient location, surrounded by several restaurants, and a convenient bicycle stop to rent a bike for the day!
  • Absolutely loved the water fountain and was one of our favorite stops downtown during our trip. They have concerts at the square and loved the atmosphere on a beautiful day.
  • Nice place to go if you are visiting, live music in the summer. Great restaurants surrounding it. It is a public place so don't expect it to be super clean.
  • Great place to hang out during summer. Great festivals. Winter skating rink is great. Lots of good restaurants right at the square.
