  • Nice zoo! As a zoology major I love visiting zoos and seeing the conservation work being done! I had just gone to the San Diego zoo ( which is amazing) and I thought this might be a let down, but it was not! Most of the exhibits were spacious, and well put together. They are redoing the gorilla exhibit, so it will be safer for visitor and better for the gorillas! This place is very kid friendly. My only complaint was that some of the exhibits were quite small and empty (the bears in particular)and although I'm not sure how large there behind the scenes area was this might make you a bit sad as a viewer. Overall I would say definitely visit and support the work at this zoo!
  • Cincinnati zoo is one of the best wildlife and botanical area that I've visited. It has a huge variety of flora and fauna. It's not very expensive yet you get to see all kinds of animals, reptiles, birds, fishes, insects, etc just in the one place. They also have animal chats where you get to see, touch or interact with the animals. It's a must visit in you're anywhere around Cincinnati. Do take the train ride for a speedy over view of some of the attractions. The zoo has many stops where you can sit and have a snack. All in all, an excellent experience.
  • I spend a lot of my days with the kids here. The Cincinnati zoo is one of those places where you can go from open to close and not see everything they have to offer. So there's always something new. The staff is helpful and friendly and they're always improving and adding onto it. They also do a lot for conservation and teaching people about how to live a greener lifestyle. A lot of the zoo, in fact is powered by solar panels, which cover their parking area, so they're serving to keep your car shaded for a majority of the day too, which is really good if you have a cooler or something in your car. Additionally they have great member benefits and discounts on food, services, and gift shops. If you can avoid going on a weekend, I would, as its super duper crowded.
  • Amazing!!! You would first think a zoo in the middle of a city and as small as it is must be a joke. No you are mistaken. They are voted year after year for being the most beautiful and peaceful zoo for a reason. They don't have much space and they know it so they built the park in a way that the creator must have been a master at Tetris as a child. The animals have plenty of room and the enclosures are very roomy and beautiful. It took us only 2 hours to see the whole place but we were very happy with it. I recommend the penguins. They're my boys
  • Love the zoo. Children love the animals and learning about them. Many of the attractions were poorly marked and the map they give doesn't help much. Absolutely No smoking areas anywhere and the prices for refreshments and gifts are very high.
