What makes the Cincinnati Zoo different from other zoos? 1. You can feed a giraffe for $3. Don't fret if you have to wait in line because watching the giraffes at eye level is a real treat. 2. You can...  more »

We love that you can bring your own food and drinks. This saves us a lot of money and is a lot healthier. We also love the pass because it is so worth the price for a family. We love our zoo!! And we have so many cute zoo babies!! Not just Fiona ;) but we can't wait to see Fiona in person!! Our zoo has the best staff too! They take such good care of the animals and are so knowledgeable! Thane Maynard is wonderful and we are lucky he has been in Cincinnati so long.

Awesome zoo!!! We got the adventure tickets and it was well worth it. We were there from 9AM to 6PM and still did not see everything. The kids absolutely loved the 4D video experience, the train ride, and the carousel (even though the carousel was only like a 1 minute ride). The down side was that the specific animals that a couple of us wanted to see were off exhibit due to habitat construction....they could have noted that or told us when we got our maps and asked questions when we first got their. I don't fault them for upgrading habitats, but just tell people that there are no orangutans or sloths out today so we didn't walk all the way back to see them, just to be disappointed! We are from the Indianapolis area and I thought our zoo was nice, but this one definitely outshines ours, it was a fantastic day! (Oh, and they charge parking fees when you leave, not when you get there!)

Nice zoo! As a zoology major I love visiting zoos and seeing the conservation work being done! I had just gone to the San Diego zoo ( which is amazing) and I thought this might be a let down, but it was not! Most of the exhibits were spacious, and well put together. They are redoing the gorilla exhibit, so it will be safer for visitor and better for the gorillas! This place is very kid friendly. My only complaint was that some of the exhibits were quite small and empty (the bears in particular)and although I'm not sure how large there behind the scenes area was this might make you a bit sad as a viewer. Overall I would say definitely visit and support the work at this zoo!

We went on mother's day. Never again. The zoo itself is nice but it took 2 hours to get to park and get in and we didn't get to see it all. I would love to go back but on a different day. Love the fact that you can take your coolers in. Everyone that worked there was friendly. Checked on ticket prices very reasonable. Will be going back.

Cincinnati zoo is one of the best wildlife and botanical area that I've visited. It has a huge variety of flora and fauna. It's not very expensive yet you get to see all kinds of animals, reptiles, birds, fishes, insects, etc just in the one place. They also have animal chats where you get to see, touch or interact with the animals. It's a must visit in you're anywhere around Cincinnati. Do take the train ride for a speedy over view of some of the attractions. The zoo has many stops where you can sit and have a snack. All in all, an excellent experience.
