  • My husband & I arrived around 7pm (we left promptly at 7 am the next morning) no one came to give us keys to the restroom & showers or to collect $. Luckily, after 2 days of camping with no bathing, the men's room was left ajar so we're able to shower and use the restroom, however it was locked in the am. The women's restroom was locked the whole time, I never got to use it. That was annoying. If I was a lone female camping I would have left. They need to have a different system. Otherwise it was alright.
  • Stayed one night on Sunday. Offices were closed, but staff came by around 7pm to collect fee and provide us with a key to the restrooms. Very, very quiet at night. Hiked the Church Rock trail in the morning. Beautiful scenery. Restrooms are clean. Showers (wih hot water) worked well.
  • Only park I ever stayed at where the ranger comes by to collect 8am. They don't have a fee box because "it keeps getting broken into". So that probably speaks volumes about the area. And the Gallup website for submitting comments doesn't work. I was going to stay but we will go find another site that is safer and doesn't have a morning wake up call. Not a great site either. Just a big sand pit with sites right next to each other. Campground is about the size of a football field and has 70+ sites. Very crowded and def needs some work. Dont waste your money at this one. Push a little further away from Gallup to stay.
  • Really nice park. Stayed here in my rv for a week. Very quiet and great views!
  • We're here with no events, the place is deserted, quiet, beautiful and perfectly relaxing.
