  • Lovely place to stop for a quick hike if you're driving between AZ and NM. It's not too far off the freeway. The views of the rocks were beautiful. We parked next to the post office and didn't see....  more »
  • This is a beautiful place to hike and get out in nature. It's very close to Gallup, NM, so if you're in town, make a plan to see it!  more »
  • Excellent place to wake up your legs after being in the car for 6 hours+. Spent a an hour hiking in and an hour hiking out. Very scenic.  more »

  • The view of the surroundings is both a comfort and worth looking at. The park is built beside these high red rocks that provide an awesome background. The park features a museum where you can go through in a semi circle viewing various objects and stories. There is a gallery and amphitheater. All in all a nice place to visit before or after going to walk (or run) pyramid trail or the side track to churchrock trails. There is also a camping area for those who would like to stay for awhile longer than a day. Signs direct you to where you want to go and the scenery provide a great background.
  • Reasonable rates. Easy to find. Quiet. Lots of sand and bathrooms have seen hard use. The hot air balloon launch early Friday morning was exciting!
  • No tissue in restrooms. BYOT (bring your own tissue). But everything was good. Plenty of parking. But not enough handicap spaces.
  • Very Honored... Twice I have ridden my motorcycle across country the week before memorial day from Los Angeles to Washington DC to pay my respects to those who have fallen. Red Rock has hosted a group of veterans and supporters every year. I remember being completely blown away the first time I came through here. We were greeted with an endless amount on United States flags, open arms and the wonderful residents of Gallup. They fed us, gave us shelter, the Native Americans welcomed us into their circle and we danced to bless us on our journey. An amazing, emotional and moving moment I will remember for the rest of my life
  • Great trail! Definitely can get lost very easily your first time but it’s a beautiful place to get lost in and it’s usually easy to get back to the trail after. I recommend this place to everyone.
