  • I've been here multiple times and so far Aquatica is the place to go relax and have a great time with anybody you can relate to. The food here is expensive, but deemed promising when you actually try the food, the lines for the rides are long. But a quick hack is when the wave pool starts to make waves and the people are going to head there when it's about to start, so quickly get to a slide or ride so you can get there early. You could rent your own personal Cabana for the stay, not worth it if you have a limited budget. My personal favorite part of Aquatica is the HooRoo Run slide. Overall, the place is great except for the amount of crowd there is. You can really start to like the place if you know your way around Aquatica and get to parking there early.
  • Kids love the place. You can get the splash season pass for under $50 and enjoy for the entire summer. Make sure you get one premium pass (full price of under $100) to get free parking otherwise parking is $15 for every time you go.
  • You have to get here early, if you do, get a spot in the sand near the wave pool in the shade. Then you get the beach feeling with a few steps to the food. The park is great and the water is moderately heated. There are hundreds of people coming through the park so you may see some trash and the occasional band aid, but that is what chlorine is for. The kids pool is a little high on the chlorine concentration but there are plenty of other things to do than stay in the pool too long. For kids life jackets are required for some areas, but are provided. For anyone familiar with the Dole whip soft serve at Disney, there is a stand here, while it is not Dole it is the same and you can get it served in a pineapple for a more vacation like experience. There are a couple bars too, pre defined drinks only, but local SD brews are available!
  • I went there yesterday the 20th. Of August, 2016 met my nephew Ray & his wife Ashley, with their 3 boy's Jacob, Noah & Dominick! My husband Jose came 30 minutes later with my daughter Amber,Jamie, Aiden & my 15 month old Grandson Levi! I looked it up online and found an amazing deal on their website!! A one day adult ticket was the regular price of $44.00 so I purchased 3 adult, but Wait... here's the kicker:= = ALL THE KIDS WERE FREE !!! little Dom, was free anyway because he 2 1/2 but Jacob is 10 and Noah 8, I saved $76.00 & it was on a Saturday! There just wasn't enough time, I mean there is so much to Do, see, eat!! love, laugh & live... So many Giggles, Smiles, and Laughing out Loud! #GreatestMemoriesEver #FamilyFun #WeLoveAquaticaSanDiego #ILoveMyFamily
  • I came to aquatica with my daughter on wendnesday in summer. And the park was extremely crowded. I recccomend for everyone to get the quick quenue pass its a little pricy ($20 per person). But its worth it the lines are extreamly long, and the wait is teribble. The food is fine, or at least wait I expected from a theme park . Also aquatica does not let you bring food into the park, you must buy some or eat outside of the park. The one thing that I did not like about this park is that the ground is extresmely hot, and almost blistered my feet. Tassies Twister is super fun but the way up to the ride is terrible. They have one flight of stairs that is steal (and hurts your feet a lot). Overall the aquatica park is super fun, clean, has good slides and rides, ok food. I would reccomednd this to anyone who likes waterparks.
