  • I called the day prior and was told we would not need a reservation for a 10 mile canoe trip the following day. We planned a morning trip to avoid the real heat of the mid afternoon. We arrived at 100...  more »
  • We rented a canoe and Andersons toted us up river so we could paddle/float back to Manatee Springs. Nice experience. But WOW--their smoked meat plates were amazing. About the best BBQ I've ever had. E...  more »

  • The rates are great. We kayaked for around 2 hours in a tandem kayak for $20. The water in the springs is incredibly clear, and the river is fairly calm and there aren't a lot of boats so don't fear flipping! Some of the people before us saw otters and we saw two turtles gettin it on, so everyone had a great day. We went during January and it was about 75 degrees and sunny all day. The kayak shop is located at the mouth of manatee springs, which is one of the natural hot springs in Florida. The hot springs water remains 72 degrees year round since the water comes from below. The river leads into the spring, and then suddenly, drops off into a big hole in the ground that's around 30 feet deep and 150 feet wide, aka, the spring. The water is clear and you can see all the way to the bottom, to see the entrance of the cave. We enjoyed a swim in the clear fresh water after we kayaked, but remember, 72 degrees water is not the same as 72 degrees air, so be cautious if you are sensitive to cool temperatures. You can also rent snorkeling gear and scuba dive there.
  • Great professional, helpful and friendly run business. We rented one of their tandem kayaks at both the Manatee Springs and the Santa Fe River parks; no waiting at either location. Both were wonderful trips and their barbeque at Manatee Springs was the best we've had. We definitely will return next time we're in Florida.
  • Paul was a great guide as he told us about Suwannee River. We took a tour with Anderson's Outdoor Adventure from Manatee Springs. It included drinks and dinner so it was a great value. What a beautiful trip it was up & down the river. We saw so many turtles sunbathing; though they were shy when it came to pictures. And there were many kinds of water foul. We enjoyed every minute of our pontoon boat tour.
  • If you want a awesome and friendly experience I highly recommend spending your time here at this park! Paul/Charlie & Timmy provide exceptional customer service! Love this place because of Andersons outdoor Adventures! I will be back!!!!!!!!! Wish I could give it a 10 star experience lol
  • Best place for smoked BBQ, canoe, kayak, paddle board, tube, snorkel, bike and pontoon boat rentals! Do a pontoon tour on the beautiful Suwannee river. Best tour comes with food and drinks!
