United Center, Chicago

Categories: Tourist Spots, Arenas & Stadiums
Inspirock Rating:
4.4/5 based on 900+ reviews on the web
The largest arena in the country based on its physical size, United Center serves as the home of two of Chicago's most-beloved sports franchises, the National Basketball Association Bulls and the National Hockey League Blackhawks. Take a picture with the Michael Jordan statue on the east side of the arena and with statues of various Blackhawks players around the perimeter of the 89,000 sq m (960,000 sq ft) complex. Beyond basketball and hockey games, the area hosts numerous special events, such as concerts, throughout the year. Be prepared to pay for parking and allow extra time to walk to the arena. If you want to take a cab after an event, try walking away from the complex to flag one down. Arrange to visit United Center and other attractions in Chicago using our Chicago trip itinerary maker.

  • Very big and clean. Great for any occasion or event. I would definitely attend another concert here. The only flaw was that the security and the seating people was young and very immature. They didn't do their job well

  • Recently visited home and gave a mini tour to my husband and family. Of course this was a stop that was a must see. I grew up attending games here at the height of the bulls and Jordan in the 90's. His is always a fun local tourist spot. Make sure you bring your Camara. There are always folks around willing to help you get hay get shot of the Jordan statue.
  • Friendly service. Lot of parking. Not bad to get out. Had fun. Good variety of food selection
  • Wonderful venue for Blackhawks, Bulls, concerts, and other events. If you're in Chicago- make sure you buy some tickets for a Blackhawks game!!!!! Incredible experience!
