  • On eof the beautiful beaches in Chicago's Lake Michigan shores. Easy to get to, but other beaches (like Oak St) are better in my opinion
  • Nothing like coming to spend the day to this delicious little Beach in the middle of the city!... and enjoy the caffe olive with their snacks and cold, good choice of summer beers!

  • To show no one would say that it is a beach of the Lake. Sand, clean, free beach, but if you want you can rent sun loungers. The seabed slopes gently and take a bath is pleasant. The skyscrapers then make it all the more enjoyable. You won't be disappointed.

  • I swim here in the summer about 2-3 times per week. The water doesn't warm up quickly so bring a wetsuit if you want to swim early in the season. There is a buoy line set up parallel to the lake shore path and then there's a 1/4 mile and 1/2 mile buoy further out. Water's only about 8 feet deep and stays fairly calm if the wind is out of the west. There are lockers (you need to bring your own lock) but they fill up quickly in the afternoon. It's also great to bring a water bottle to rinse the sand off your feet. I love swimming here.
  • Beautiful beach! Great views at sunset! I highly recommend coming here to check out the city at sunset from this perspective. With the water and the glow of the city lights, it's so beautiful!
  • Ok Beach. Small. More touristy than others. Not as great of views.
  • This beach is above an average beach. It's got calm water for people with small kids facilities near the site and it's not as well known as oak street or north avenue so it doesn't have huge crowds also some of the beaches downtown have very coarse sand Ohio street has fine sand that doesn't stick you also the view is amazing if you go around the navy pier area a lot I highly suggest coming here
  • Love coming here since it's not always packed and it's not rowdy like north Ave or Montrose.
