Where to stay in Chicago

The Midwest's major center for business conventions, Chicago boasts many affordable places to stay, with most hotels located around the airport and the city's central business district. To discover the city from a comfortable base within walking distance of most tourist attractions, aim for one of the big chain hotels in the downtown area. If you're traveling on a limited budget and wish to get a deeper sense of Chicago's many diverse neighborhoods, consider staying away from the pricey city center and explore suburbs on a commuter train line for easy city access.

  • Nice place. Raul made people feel welcome when they came in. Great attitude and smile. You can tell he loves his job. He was very helpful.
  • I've seen museums around the world and to me this is one of the best. Some stunning artwork. And it really drives home the importance of Mexican American and Mexican art. A great attraction in the wonderful Pilsen neighborhood.
  • The art collection is impressive. Old artist and new. I've also been here for fundraiser and the banquet hall is small but cozy. They have a stage which I love because no matter where you sit or stand you are always engage in the presentations or entertainment.
  • A cute and small museum, full of interesting and lively pieces. It was really nice to know it is free and open to the public. They have a special exhibit with Francesco Toledo which was beautiful, unique, and wonderful. It was nice to see the transition of art style through history, giving you a true feel for Mexican art.
  • Enjoyed viewing and reading about all the art that was displayed. Very clean and beautifully kept building.
