  • Where you can see it's not the absolute in one day ... So big I did blah Oriental tube nor altogether classical design with side looked only for three hours? Some people have not seen everything in wedding photography and learning a lot of students also like Picasso? "rang around the famous writers like René Magritte works, so I can see

  • Wow I had such an amazing experience here. I went to see the Kerry James Marshall exhibit called MASTRY. It was challenging on a moral and ethical level. I found it to be quite thought-provoking and led me to do some personal reflection on my own understanding of race in America. It challenged me to become more aware of my unconscious biases. I am so grateful and happy that I went to see these amazing works of art. The museum itself is really well maintained and clean and easy to navigate. Also it's free for Illinois residents on Tuesdays. Also there's a wonderful farmers market right outside the front door on Tuesdays. The market closes at 2 p.m. I bought some delicious croissants and my sister got some beautiful vegetables. You could easily do breakfast and lunch here on Tuesdays. I recommend public transportation or ride sharing to get here. Parking is not easy or cheap.
  • A very clean and neat museum. Compared to other Contemporary Art Museums, it is definitely more meaningful. The staffs are nice, the location is good. A bit small as a museum yet quite a lot of activities going on. Definitely worth visiting.
  • Really enjoyed this museum. It was undergoing a renovation when I visited so not all areas were open. However, the exhibits were fascinating. Some very "odd" pieces make this trip worth it, if you enjoy unusual art. (e.g., things made out of hair, or little doll stockings) The Gift Shop also has some very playful items (e.g., Green Army men in Yoga poses). If you enjoy art, you owe it to yourself to go at least once.
  • I enjoy coming here, depending on the current exhibit. Tuesdays on the Terrace is great in the summer time for some nice jazz. But, can you guys lighten up with the bag awareness? I have been repeatedly annoyed by security YELLING something about someone's bags being in front of them or getting too close to an installation. Several times, they yelled at me about my SMALL camera bag being at my side and not my front. Completely obnoxious. At least be a little discreet about letting people know. It cheapens everything when you all just yell. Come on.
  • Great museum and a fantastic garden out back. Free for Illinois residents on Tuesdays and dont skip the giftshop.
