  • This is a little suprise park near one of the biggest areas of Chicago - Navy Pier. It is on a point and gives one of the most spectacular views of the Chicago skyline. It is a Memorial Park to Milton...  more »

  • Located close to the Ohio Street Beach and Addams Park, we spend during your walk to Navy Pier. Advice to stop because the Park is quiet and peaceful and you can admire a beautiful skyline view from the side of the Lake. There are some monuments and fountains

  • This park has something for everybody, be it dog owners, couples or a family wanting to spend some quality time together. The view of the lake front skyline from Oak street beach nearby is awesome. The overall atmosphere is festive because of all the people cycling around, swimming in the lake or relaxing on the beach. There are lots of spots to take good photos and this is supported by the fact that I saw two separate wedding parties getting their photos clicked here. This is definitely a must visit.
  • Quiet compared to Navy Pier or Oak Street beach nearby. Shady spots to hang. Lot of deferred maintenance building up. Gated - can be unexpectedly closed without notice. All of 2 trashcans entire length of pier. Fountains (5?) haven't worked for years. De facto dog park - generally well behaved but often off leash. Wheelchair - yes - but $$$ & blocks away - Navy Pier.
  • This is a great park to venture to when you want to see the lake and get a beautiful view of the city.
  • Nice park for viewing lake front skyline and to get away from the crowds.
  • Fantastic views of the city skyline particularly of the John Hancock Tower. Was there last weekend and it was deserted. Enjoyed the peace and the waves along with the view.
