  • Really great place to go to! No charge to get in either. Lots of different plants from around the world. Parking as usual can be a bit tough, but I managed to find one on two separate occasions. Great for families and individuals.
  • It's a beautiful conservatory. Walking in you are hit by the smell and the humidity, both of which are refreshing. I don't know anything about plants but it is nice just to walk. One room has little dinosaurs which is cute.
  • Flower show was going on - all the arrangements were very well done and pretty. Bashed my head against a sausage plant near the entrance - the lady at the entrance checked on me three times to make sure I was okay. (Warning to visitors: don't hit your head on one of the things hanging down from the sausage plants - they don't look heavy but it was like hitting a wall.) Very relaxing and a pleasant experience
  • What a gem. So nice to have a free attraction in Chicago. It was a bit tired though. The conservatory was lovely on a cold winter's day.
  • What a great way to get out of the cold and escape to a world of interesting and beautiful plants. Watch out for the dinosaurs hiding in the fern room! The staff were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Please make a donation to this very worthy cause!
