  • This site is part of a complex, next to Navy Pier and has several species of plants. A refreshing and delicious piece of visit. Beautiful!

  • Unfortunately, I have been to the Phipps Conservatory in Pittsburgh and the Cleveland Botanical Garden so, there is really no comparison. More like a big green house. It was free, though
  • If you go to Lincoln Park Zoo, make sure you also stop here. It's not very large, but it's so neat on the inside! There are so many different flowers and plants. It's also a nice break when it's chill...  more »

  • Beautiful conservatory but there were a number of areas under construction when we were there. It's free which is quite amazing in this day and age.
  • So beautiful. Take a camera or a book. Capture the flowers or simply read a book on one of the benches.
  • You might not expect much for a free conservatory, but you'd be surprised. There were several large rooms, each jam-packed with myriad interesting plants. There were one or two plants where we couldn't find a placard to indicate what it was, but a docent was always nearby to not only let us know what we were looking at but offer up other interesting information as well. I was expecting it to be much more crowded than it was, too, so it was nice to be able to slowly stroll through without getting in anyone's way. This was a fun trip!
  • I went here last summer and loved it. Excelkent and knowledgeable volunteers; great variety of beautiful healthy plants. More orchids than I have seen anywhere else.
  • I've never been to a conservatory before, but it is undoubtedly one of the most relaxing and most beautiful things you'll ever experience. Definitely check it out if you're in the area!
