  • Lake Shore Drive, is my gateway strip from the north side to the south side, or vice versa! I can never get enough of the views while driving on LSD. During the morning hours you have the sunrise, and...  more »

  • It's awesome place in prime location.. I am just planning to move so just called them in the last minute and I got an appointment to take a tour at 4:45 pm on Sunday from Simona Tomuletiu.. very good response and kind lady ...things really cool here not like other previous reviews .. I am thinking this is good place to live even though bed room space is less. Hope for best time to move soon if I get the apt within my budget , but I am sure , I am gonna to recommend this place to my friends..
  • Nice location, but.. There is always smell in the hallway, elevator and somewhere... Isn't it a smoke-free building?
  • I have lived in this building for some time. Overall, it is patently obvious that I had made a colossal mistake by having entered into a one-year lease with its parent company, namely The Habitat Company. For starters, some of the doormen at this place lack common courtesy; they do not greet guests or residents. Others have allowed visitors to go past the front desk without notifying residents or having these persons sign in; this presents a security risk. Most importantly, the managers of this property are extremely incompetent. Cases in point: they have not responded to any of my complaints in a timely fashion and handed me my one-bedroom apartment unit in very poor condition --without having bothered to hire someone to clean it or fix things that were, or were not, broken by previous residents (example: leaky windows, which will cause you to spend a lot on heating). There's also heavy construction nearby, which will last for at least another year. The construction activity in question gets very loud throughout the day and the construction workers at the adjacent worksite regularly start their work very early --well before 8 a.m. Also, it should be noted that the elevators in this building are always dysfunctional. I am, in no, way exaggerating. There have been times when no elevators were working and I had to climb dozens of steps to get to my destination. Such episodes haven't been rare occurrences. When the elevators do work, it's extremely rare that all of them are in service. This translates to a lot of hours wasted waiting for an elevator over the course of a year. I should add that these elevators sometimes reek of weed (marijuana) and possibly other illegal substances. The only positive about this place is that it is below market price. However, in my opinion and those of others, the sacrifices referenced above are not worth the savings in this case. Rent at your own risk. You'll hear others mention the amenities. They are a joke. The fitness room they have contains a handful of treadmills and not much for weights. Also, it closes early. This explains why I have had to join a nearby gym. The pool is, understandably, located outdoor and runs seasonally, for roughly half of the summer mind you. In terms of depth, it's shallow. It's also often crowded. For a hundred dollars more or so, one can rent from the nearby AXIS apartments or other similar places, which I hear have a much more professional staff. Save yourself the money and agony.
  • This is a terrible place to live/rent from. The management is extremely incompetent. I personally reached out to my contact multiple times regarding the renewal of our lease, and when I talked to somebody else they informed me that that person no longer works there, and that it is my fault for not reaching out to somebody else... And that they had already re-leased our apartment and that we had to be out of there by the end of the month, and if we did not they would take us to court... I have never been treated so poorly by people whose salary is paid for with my money. They are incapable of supporting you with any issues. If you are looking for a nice home, I would not chose this place. Also the pool was closed for the largest part of summer.
  • Please fix the elevators! How hard could it be? Glad ill be moving out soon.
