  • Being a social worker and reading the biography of Jane Addams as a 3rd grader, having the chance to be at this historic home of the mother of social work was beyond words! Simply amazing!!

  • As a child, I was forced to endure the soul-destroying torment that is the Hull House. My one-star review is meant to convey 15 years of built-up disdain for every aspect of this site. Unfortunately, writing a review does not come close to making up for the immeasurable suffering I experienced here.
  • A great look at the life and legacy of Jane Addams, one of the most important and influential women in American history. It's a shame the Hull Home is the only building of the settlement remaining.
  • Great history, beautiful surroundings.
  • terrible service. no toilet paper
  • And people back then said women couldn't accomplish anything, well Jane Addams proved them wrong. Proved a lot of people wrong.
