  • Necessarily make a beer tasting on Saturday! For $10 you can taste three beers. Super tasty and interesting.

  • My husband, and everyone else in the place love the beer. I didn't find a beer that rocked my world. But we agree the food is terrific! Clientel and staff are friendly. More families with small childr...  more »

  • Our server extraordinaire, Julie, was everything we could have asked for! We had a 7-top packed to the gills with fellow brewers from spots around the neighborhood. We felt like we were her only table, although the place was jammed on a Friday night. She was extremely attentive, had a memory like a steel trap, and had a killer personality to boot. Would recommend this joint to any beer/nacho lover.
  • The group here is incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. Not only are they able to recommended a beer for your personage, they also have fun personalities to boot. I've never had a bad recommendation or bad service here. Even during the Cubbies World Series. The food is inventive and delicious. There are options for every taste. Start with the science cheese nachos and move onto your burrito from there. Black Dog Gelato is a great local finish.
  • Good Beer. Friendly Staff. Clean Establishment. Great Food. Cozy Atmosphere. Parking can be difficult. Overall worth a visit :)
  • This is one of my favorite brewery tours in Chicago. There's only one tour that starts at 11AM each Saturday, but be sure you get there by 10:30AM if you want to secure a spot on the tour since they routinely run out of tickets 15-30 minutes before they begin. You get three full pints of beer and a Half Acre beer glass to keep for $10. The tour is broken into three parts with intermissions to get more beer and socialize. The history of the brewery along with brewing process are all covered on the tour, and the guides are very entertaining and will allow questions.
  • It's a really, really cool space. The decor, the artwork, it's all neat. Unfortunately, that was the best part. I'm a craft beer nerd so I've been to many tap rooms and breweries. My boyfriend and I had family in from Ohio, so we wanted to bring them to local breweries. Out of four different beers ordered amongst us, only one of us liked our beers. It was disappointing, and we left for Fountainhead for a better beer experience. I'm not complaining about the brewery, but we were all really put off by 75% gross beer ratio.
