  • You can go into the shop and delight yourself with thousand candies, but also there's a coffee shop inside where you can try milkshakes, ice creams, macarons and grab a coffee to go.  more »
  • Our family has visited other Dylan’s locations but not this one. We happened to arrive in the early evening on a Friday night during Happy Hour. Dylan’s has a small cafe and bar, which was serving $5 ...  more »

  • Truly unbelievable amount of candy. They have just about anything you could be looking for. The staff there enjoys making people happy and the only thing that I could offer a suggestion on has to do with allergy info. I realize it is tough, but anything more to accommodate allergies is appreciated. My one suggestion is that your eyes are bigger than your stomach--I promise. We'll be eating candy forever.
  • I'm so grateful to the staff at this store!! We stopped by during our stay in Chicago with my toddler and the staff was very helpful, friendly and patient. More importantly I happened to leave my wallet there. I was positive I left it at the hotel or somewhere in our way back home. I was so surprised to get a box in the mail today with my wallet and the sweetest note from the staff!! Thank you soooo much!! I wish I could thank you guys by name! Good job management in hiring, your staff is awesome!!
  • Dylan's candy bar is MAGICAL. It's not just for children either. They have every type of candy you can imagine. The decor makes it seem as if you are in a fairytale! I love the huge lollipop tree in the middle of the store and the giant ceramic chocolate bunny in the suit at the front of the store. You can see the downstairs from the upper levels and the store even smells wonderful. Besides having mountains of candy, they have an ice cream parlor. The best part of this place to me is that they have an actual full BAR!! The employees top off this wonderful experience with their cheerful attitudes and willingness to help the customers. Depending on what time you go there and who is working, you might even get free samples, a song and a dance. It really is a great place!
  • We were introduced to candy we have never seen before by makers we've known for a lifetime! The variety and selection were amazing. Upstairs is the delicious fudge, downstairs is an ice cream bar. Many bins of candy that you pay by the pound, and then of course full size candy bars. The artwork of the place is also something of fantasy, reminding us of candy crush, or the board game Candy Land! Definitely a place to explore if someone in your group has a sweet tooth! You can get more than your fill here for sure.
  • The Over all experience was great but I must say that the prices are a bit too high. Some of the things they sell are pretty much double the price that you would find them anywhere else. But Hey I mean if you have the kind of money to be paying doubled the price for whatever it is you like then by all means go ahead. Unfortunately not a lot of people can afford to be pain some overpriced items. Customer service and The employees are wonderful, great customer service, very friendly and clean.

Where to stay in Chicago

The Midwest's major center for business conventions, Chicago boasts many affordable places to stay, with most hotels located around the airport and the city's central business district. To discover the city from a comfortable base within walking distance of most tourist attractions, aim for one of the big chain hotels in the downtown area. If you're traveling on a limited budget and wish to get a deeper sense of Chicago's many diverse neighborhoods, consider staying away from the pricey city center and explore suburbs on a commuter train line for easy city access.
