  • Well this won't take long but it is kind of cool. We spent an hour in Millenium Park and took in Cloud Gate, the Fountain with the faces and crossed the bridge they call the snake. Enjoyable walk and ...  read more »
  • There are great photo opportunities here. It is big enough that it accommodates many people at once. Easy to find. Only issue was the hundreds of hand prints on it. Can get crowded, I suggest going ea...  read more »
  • Such a beautiful unique sculpture! With it's considerably simplistic design, you would never image just how stretched the reflections are that you see. It's stunningly beautiful and we suggest walking all around the entire bean to take in every different reflection. You can get some really cool photos with this piece of art!
  • I was in Chicago when Millennium Park first unveiled Cloud Gate (a.k.a. The Bean). I recall how people made jokes about this metallic bean shaped object that was one of the few things visible prior to the official opening of Millennium Park. Even then, I saw the beauty of this iconic piece of art. It beautifully bends and twists the landscape around it making what it reflects something new, something previously unimagined. It blends the landscape into the art just as the art itself blends into the landscape. And that is only the exterior surface. Take a walk underneath and take a look around and up into the underbelly of Cloud Gate. It is like a psychedelic journey or perhaps what it feels like to be inside a kaleidoscope. This one of the most amazing, interactive, and attractive pieces of public art. A must see for Chicagoans and the world.
  • It's interesting sculpture plus the surrounding atmosphere is very good. The kids enjoyed it plus they also enjoyed the park. It's good to visit once a while and it's a must for first time visitor
  • Beautiful iconic public sculpture by Indian-born British artist Anish Kapoor. Early morning is the best time for good photo. We went around 7 and got nice pictures. It’s beautiful even during night.
  • Amazing ! I've taken so many pictures of the place. The best are the one taken with the building reflecting on the bean glass. Well, one of the best place of Chicago, its really something. Modern art that anyone can enjoy !
