  • Neat structure. Was going to skip it but glad we walked by in the way to art institute. Walk underneath to get the best photos of yourself.  more »
  • The Bean is a Chicago classic. Unfortunately it's typically very, very crowded. We recommend going on a cold winter day. Although it's not the most pleasant, you get to enjoy the beautiful structure w...  more »
  • Beautiful place and it's open all day long. It has day view different than night view, so you can visit it twice  more »

  • Such a beautiful unique sculpture! With it's considerably simplistic design, you would never image just how stretched the reflections are that you see. It's stunningly beautiful and we suggest walking all around the entire bean to take in every different reflection. You can get some really cool photos with this piece of art!
  • When I traveled to Chicago December 2015, I made it a priority to visit the iconic "bean" of the city. Although I ended up going on the coldest, windiest weekend of December, I enjoyed every minute of my visit! I was pretty lucky that it was so cold outside, because there were less tourists around and I was able to get some pretty nice pictures!
  • Umm it's a giant jelly bean. Beautiful? No. we were walking by and were like what the heck we are already here. It's a little cool to see the reflections of the city but other than that this is a waste of space. And icon of Chicago? Give me a break. That what The Willis Tower, The Hancock Tower, Navy Pier, Wriggly Field and even a solid deep dish pizza are. Not a giant jelly bean.
  • Veey beautiful and huge piece of art. It is always busy. Can have some fun around Clicking pictures.
  • Very shiny indeed. There's some nice walkways all around the park, the area with the giant shiny bean is nice and open where many people tend to congregate and take pictures. Nearby is a skate (roller) ring that goes around the rock climbing walls.
