  • Chicago is a great city, renowned for its beautiful buildings, from the most traditional to the most modern. Walking along the Riverwalk you'll find iconic buildings and others not so much, but just as impressive. Worth walk quietly, have a coffee and enjoy free architecture.

  • So happy that the city built this out. It is amazing way to experience the river, and each section represents a different type of goal or entertainment that occurs in that section. This ranges from bars and food to biodiverse floating gardens, to a fountain for children. A great place for photography and getting a glass of wine on a nice spring or summer day!
  • The Riverwalk is absolutely gorgeous. Whether you're just walking along the shore or taking one of the river cruises, it's one of the finest way to see Chicago. And there's quite a few nice restaurants up and down the stretch, definitely worth a visit.
  • It was amazing do much space and great places near by to entertain. Love the soft pillows and blankets. Great pool/large pool. I just loved it!!
  • There's nothing better than enjoying the Chicago Riverwalk on a warm sunny day except enjoying the Chicago Riverwalk on a cooler sunny day. If you go during the summer you will encounter lots of people, my suggestion is you wait for cooler weather so go in the spring and fall and it will be much more enjoyable. A nice location to enjoy some of the best sights of the Chicago river and Chicago's gorgeous architechture. Unfortunately people waiting for a table at the bars and restaurants block the walkway so it's crowded in some spots. Especially crowded at City Winery where they have seating and stairs where you can sit and enjoy the boats passing by. In fact, it looks like most people bring their own drinks to enjoy by the river and not that many are actually purchasing at City Winery. Bike owners, dog owners, and strollers should all be banned from the Riverwalk Bicyclists are supposed to yield to pedestrians but they don't. People leaving their dog poo in the carefully landscaped shrubs/flowers right across from a restaurant is not very appetizing. You can hop on board the Chicago Water Taxi for a different view of the city and the Riverwalk. In fact, you can walk right into Navy Pier if you want to lengthen your stroll and see another iconic Chicago landmark. If you can avoid the rude bicyclists, the dog owners who do not clean up after their dogs and the people with strollers who will Ram into you at a moment's notice, you'll have a wonderful day.
  • Chicago has a lots of good places to relax and hang out. This is one of our favorites. The river holds the towering buildings apart and opens up space so that downtown doesn't seem so over bearing. The pursuits of walkers, boaters and other traffic and to the effect.
