  • The ability to walk near the river in a large city like Chicago, is a wonderful experience. A lot of people appreciate the Riverwalk and utilize the space with walking and jogging.
  • I don't know why we didn't do the Riverwalk sooner, but I'm ready to go back when the weather is good again. It is still a work in progress, but you can walk a long way if you want to, and the Riverwa...  more »
  • We walked this on a beautiful August day and loved every aspect of it. Didn't take advantage of all the options (kayaks; tours; bars), but simply enjoyed a lovely walk.

  • I fell in love with Chicago during my visit in June that I've officially became a resident. I love jogging along the Riverwalk and people watching. Chicago is developing so quick that it's grown drastically since June. They are expanding the Riverwalk even further. Chicago lives up their nickname as The Windy City. Yet, it's still breathtaking and I don't mind layering up. Who doesn't love scarf and petticoat?
  • Chicago Riverwalk is every traveler's dream. It was magic (a downtown lit up Chicago at night). It has charm (the stone bleachers with trees for people to sit and enjoy). It has adventure (Rent a kayak and explore the river). It has taste (Try one of the restaurants along the way). I am love with the Riverwalk. It goes on for blocks and blocks and is perfect for exploring (If you have a stoller, no worries! There are a few ramps at either end of the Riverwalk and one in the middle). A few locals run along it, but if you aren't into dodging slow tourists, it may be a little annoying. If you're visiting Chicago, definitely check the Riverwalk out!
  • Great place for a jog or a walk, not too busy and provides spectacular views of the city!
  • The Chicago Riverwalk keeps getting better and better. It's current expansion further down the River will offer even more cherished outdoor Chicago recreation. There seems to always be numerous people running, walking and taking advantage of the ability to enjoy being riverside away from the bustling traffic above on Wacker Drive. I walk my dog up and down the Riverwalk several times a week at all hours of the day and night and never have I felt unsafe in the slightest way. Through the Spring, Summer and Fall months there are numerous vendors offering food and drinks. All of this, plus more to come makes The Chicago Riverwalk yet another great asset to our amazing city!
  • I LOVE THE RIVER-WALK PLUS GREAT FOOD AND WINE ... ITS A BEAUTIFUL SPOT FOR COUPLES, FAMILY, FRIENDS TO ENJOY
