  • The river walk offers walking, sight seeing, people watching, amazing river views.... restaurants and photo ops galore!! What a wonderful addition to seeing Chicago from down by the river.
  • Our business group of 11 ate at O'Briens on the Riverwalk. It was very pleasant to dine right next to the river and watch the boats. It's a lively mix of people. Food was really good too.
  • One could walk along the river walk on a daily basis and never find it to get boring. The river and river activity in itself is both entertaining and relaxing. The shops, restaurants, and other land a...  read more »
  • Chicago Riverwalk is every traveler's dream. It was magic (a downtown lit up Chicago at night). It has charm (the stone bleachers with trees for people to sit and enjoy). It has adventure (Rent a kayak and explore the river). It has taste (Try one of the restaurants along the way). I am love with the Riverwalk. It goes on for blocks and blocks and is perfect for exploring (If you have a stoller, no worries! There are a few ramps at either end of the Riverwalk and one in the middle). A few locals run along it, but if you aren't into dodging slow tourists, it may be a little annoying. If you're visiting Chicago, definitely check the Riverwalk out!
  • The Chicago Riverwalk keeps getting better and better. It's current expansion further down the River will offer even more cherished outdoor Chicago recreation. There seems to always be numerous people running, walking and taking advantage of the ability to enjoy being riverside away from the bustling traffic above on Wacker Drive. I walk my dog up and down the Riverwalk several times a week at all hours of the day and night and never have I felt unsafe in the slightest way. Through the Spring, Summer and Fall months there are numerous vendors offering food and drinks. All of this, plus more to come makes The Chicago Riverwalk yet another great asset to our amazing city!
  • A great place to escape the madness of the loop. Lots of bars to sit and enjoy the scenery. Also 3 new sections look to open later this summer. Don't forget to bring your dog for a walk!
  • One of my favorite parts of Chicago!! Bring your camera, your selfie stick, your tripod, and your friends! I loved visiting the Riverwalk that I went once during the day and then again at night with a friend. Absolutely beautiful and very relaxing!!
  • This was a great scenery to walk by. The water was clear and green. If you don't want to walk you can rent some bikes or hop on a boat for a tour.
