Chicago Chinatown, Chicago

(1.8/5 based on 420+ reviews on the web)
The cultural center of Chicago's Chinese community, Chicago Chinatown brings to life striking Chinese architecture and a diverse array of Asian-owned businesses. Much of the activity is centered around Chinatown Square, which boasts colorful shops and lively restaurants. Be sure to check out the Pui Tak Center Building, featuring green and red pagoda towers, as a fine example of traditional Chinese architecture. Ping Tom Memorial Park, inspired by classic Chinese walled gardens, offers a nice spot for a stroll. You can learn more about Chinese culture and history through some of the local artwork, including sculptures of zodiac animals and a mosaic depicting the story of Chinese immigration in the United States. Try some dim sum or a fresh fruit smoothie from one of the eateries. • If you have never gone to any Chinatown in the usa do not have lived... because you don't lose much only sell merchandise but if you see a bit of culture in a big city, I recommend you to visit in the afternoon since if you're not with company can be dangerous.
