  • On a trip from New Orleans through the Mississippi Delta through Memphis to Chicago we followed the Blues and ended up Michigan on the really very good conclusion for the Willie Dixon Blues Heaven Foundation, 2120 Ave. In the two weeks before that we have many Blues museums, the Blues trail marker, visited Sun Studio, Stax Studios, music clubs, guitar shops etc. Much, especially in Clarksdale and Memphis very adorable presents, little disappointing. The former chess Studios belong to the top-three blues sites that you should visit on occasion from my point of view. There are plenty and the leadership to see including DVD with old was simply irresistible nice recordings and interviews and the personal reception very informative. Class!

  • This is the studio where they recorded Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Little Walter, Chuck Berry, Etta James, Sonny Boy Williamson, young John Lee Hooker and other giants of the blues. For those who love blues music is a sort of Shrine. For me it was though I will say that there's not much left. There are beautiful vintage photos and some memorabilia. Who doesn't love the story of the blues may be disappointed, but for me to even go into these rooms it was exciting

  • Willie Dixon rocks, who doesn't love a good facts filled adventure through the history of real music.
  • Great that they managed to hold on to the place, but it's a pretty half-hearted attempt at a museum. The video they make you watch is pretty hilarious.
