  • It was a cold windy day, and I was worried about riding in an open air train. Surprise! They have some four or five different "trains" - more like self-driven coach cars - and ours had closed windows....  read more »
  • This place has probably seen better days and it was a little rundown, but i didn't care because i got to feed potatoes to bison! Our guide was informative and gave all of us a chance to get up close a...  read more »
  • We drove up to Cheyenne just to check Wyoming off the list and decided to check out the Terry Bison Ranch, and it was a blast! Took the train ride to feed the bison and had so much fun. Our driver JC ...  read more »
  • Ambiance was really cool. Nice western theme. Service was extremely slow. We had 6 people for lunch and being 1 of only 3 tables it took them over an hour to get food. The prices are outrageous here as well. I had a buffalo burger and a soda and my bill was $25. Plenty of other restruants in Cheyenne have buffalo on the menu at far cheaper prices. You would think that this place we be cheaper on buffalo considering it is a huge buffalo ranch. The food was good but not at that price.
  • We were there with a very large group for a planned event. We had also booked one of the "cabins" for the night. It's a neat place and I'm sure more fun for kids than adults. They were understaffed for the whole day. Check-in(sold out rooms and camp sites), food service (2 hours to get food) both took much longer than it should have. While the staff is super nice they needed more for this PLANNED event. The "cabin" is really NOT a cabin. It's a small single wide trailer that feels more like a camper than cabin. It was really hot that day nearing 100. 4pm We walk into the "cabin" to find it's over 100 inside. No shade. No AC on. When I find the AC it's in the bedroom. I called check in desk was told to open windows to allow air flow to bring AC air into front room, 2nd bedroom, however most of the windows had no screens to keep the bugs out from the wetland next to trailer. LaDonna was quick to get us a fan that helped some. By 3am it had cooled off enough that we turned down the AC. While this is a neat place to visit please understand what you are really getting before you book the room.
  • It's was a very nice stay. People were helpful and bathrooms and showers were real clean. Spaces were big enough so you weren't on top of each other. I would recommend this rv park to anyone
  • It isn't a 5 star place. That's the point. It's a working bison ranch, with a fairly expensive restaurant serving fresh bison, a few scheduled daytime activities, and terrible wifi. Great for a trail ride and an overnight stay, but I wouldn't plan a whole weekend around it.
  • We at the Comfort Inn & Suites in Cheyenne always give our Guests the option of going to the Terry Bison Ranch & try something they may never get a chance to try again,Buffalo! The Terry bison Ranch has never disappointed anyone. There Buffalo Ribs are out of this World..We will continue to recommend this place! Thanks Trudy for Everything! Charlotte Wood
