  • Spent my teens and grandchildren about three hours here today. It looks like they have a lot of activity there in the past. But we went ahead and paid $12 per person for the train ride consists of one car.

  • I love eating at Terry Bison Ranch restaurant. You can get all different types of Buffalo dishes and one my favorites are the Bison Ribs. Be prepared for your table to tip over when they bring these t...  more »
  • Unfortunately, we arrived a little late to take advantage of the guided tour of the ranch who seemed very interesting. We were in Cheyenne the weekend of Labor Day (1st Monday in September) and almost all of the restaurants were closed. So we came back at the Terry Bison Ranch restaurant and well we have taken because the staff is friendly in a large room (which proved to be somewhat noisy), that day with a group of two musicians (including a veteran) who were playing (very well the rest) of the Country to the delight of customers. Card classic for this kind of establishment. Grilled meats and burger. A great choice of local beer on tap. The Buffalo burger is excellent (the best we've eaten in Wyoming). Happy find that we recommend to all and all.

  • Good place outside of the main town. Super easy for large RV access. Park is easy going and there's a restaurant and store. Activities for family as well. 50 amp, WiFi, 24 hours laundry/showers. Area for dogs.
  • Ambiance was really cool. Nice western theme. Service was extremely slow. We had 6 people for lunch and being 1 of only 3 tables it took them over an hour to get food. The prices are outrageous here as well. I had a buffalo burger and a soda and my bill was $25. Plenty of other restruants in Cheyenne have buffalo on the menu at far cheaper prices. You would think that this place we be cheaper on buffalo considering it is a huge buffalo ranch. The food was good but not at that price.
  • This place is pretty dingy and creepy, the animals at the whatever you call it dont look healthy. I dont think we will be able to return to this...kinda crazy idea. That train shouldnt be allowed to run people in it
  • We were there with a very large group for a planned event. We had also booked one of the "cabins" for the night. It's a neat place and I'm sure more fun for kids than adults. They were understaffed for the whole day. Check-in(sold out rooms and camp sites), food service (2 hours to get food) both took much longer than it should have. While the staff is super nice they needed more for this PLANNED event. The "cabin" is really NOT a cabin. It's a small single wide trailer that feels more like a camper than cabin. It was really hot that day nearing 100. 4pm We walk into the "cabin" to find it's over 100 inside. No shade. No AC on. When I find the AC it's in the bedroom. I called check in desk was told to open windows to allow air flow to bring AC air into front room, 2nd bedroom, however most of the windows had no screens to keep the bugs out from the wetland next to trailer. LaDonna was quick to get us a fan that helped some. By 3am it had cooled off enough that we turned down the AC. While this is a neat place to visit please understand what you are really getting before you book the room.
  • It isn't a 5 star place. That's the point. It's a working bison ranch, with a fairly expensive restaurant serving fresh bison, a few scheduled daytime activities, and terrible wifi. Great for a trail ride and an overnight stay, but I wouldn't plan a whole weekend around it.
