  • One of the best State Parks I've visited nationwide. Its a large park with a few thousand acres, lots of trails and a few lakes. Theres a nice swimming pool complex that brings lots of families in the summer. Many camping spots for tent campers & RVs. Site #1 was plenty long & flat for our 36ft w/ toad. I came for the trails; great singletrack, unidirectional, bike specific. And they have a laundry room ($1 per wash/dry)!
  • Have been to Poc for 3 or 4 concerts. Its a great venue for them. Never too crowded and people always seem to have a good time. Large park, probably good camping and hiking too.
  • It's an okay place. We came here on a hot day to go swimming. The place wasnt that packed, yet all the chairs were taken. Half of the chairs werent even in the shade. The concessions were super slow, and had almost no food ready. The pools were nice and clean though.
  • I understand this is a state Park so they have guidelines to follow...but some of the rules they have are crazy. My 2 year old couldn't wear her floatation device because it wasn't coast Guard approved I'm not sure where to get something like that that will fit my 28 pound 2 year old. She wasn't going to be unattended as I was holding her when I was told this... but there were little boys, older children, that were wearing underwear and no swimsuit. Also had brought toys in the park for her to play with and they said no toys in the pool. 2 times we had to get out the pool because someone threw up. For the amount of people they have in the pool area they had no where near enough chairs. And food concession was terribly slow and couldn't get any orders right. On top of that their credit card machines were down! I guess it's a nice place for the day if your children are grown and you're just there to lay in the sun or sit in the water with all the commotion.
  • Great place to mountian bike. Lots of stuff for everyone. Saw people on walmart bikes and multi-thousand dollar bikes. Has great trail maps but trails could be marked a little more constantly.
