  • A Shining Example of What a Museum Should Be. I visit the Stahls Automotive Foundation today. This is an excellent opportunity to visit automotive history. The Henry Ford could take a lesson on how to display and exhibit vehicles. Most of the vehicles are displayed where you can look inside (windows down) and easily accessible. Plenty of volunteers who open hoods and trunks to show off the vehicles along with answering questions. Some classic vehicles are that were movie props are also among the collection. An additional benefit is the large selection of pipe organs that play during the visit. This makes for a relaxed welcoming environment. Other items on display are historic gas pumps, antique outboard motors, slot machines and other car-related items. The museum is a donation based organization and the presentation well exceeds any other vehicle museum I have ever attended. Vehicle on display start from 1890 Daimler through 1950's. 5 star rated. Well worth the time to take this gem in.
  • Wonderful place and wonderful staff. I love the variety of cars. Everything from "full classics" to fun cars from the 60's. Hopefully they play music while you're there. The entire building booms with drums and cymbals and xylophones and organs and ....
  • Loved this wonderful hidden gem. You can't see it all in one visit... We'll definitely be back again. Especially loved the music section. So many rare finds.
  • A real gem of a museum. I did not expect to be so impressed. Thought I would be on and out in 30 minutes; ha, make that over 2 hours. Not only cars but various musical items from the past. It is free and worth seeing for sure. Hours are a bit restictive, open only on Tuesdays and the first Saturday of the month.
  • Absolutely amazing collection of antique cars and musical apparatus. Many of the cars I had never heard of. I would recommend Stahl's to anyone interested in automotive history.
