  • Fruits and vegetables at Alstede Farms are home grown or locally produced. It is farm to table, fresh and seasonal with a variety to select from but by no means equivalent to a large supermarket chain...  more »
  • We have had multiple visits to this farm, some good and some not-so-good. First the good. We love all the family activities Alstede offers: hayrides, pony rides, feeding farm animals, u-pick seasonal ...  more »
  • We were desperate for an 8 foot Fraser fir for Christmas -- had put it off until the last minute. Alstede was well worth the 40 minute drive. A gorgeous location, tons of wonderful things for sale in ...  more »

  • Great farm for pick your own. Long tractor ride to the fields but part of the overall experience and my son loves it. Seems kind of like they overcharge with the entry fee to pick and then paying for the produce as well, but worth it for the experience I suppose. They have a farm stand with plenty of homemade goodies (ice cream, jams, pies, etc) and fun activities for kids (animals to visit, goat feeding, corn play pit, etc). A fun day trip with the family!
  • Very organized operation. Super nice people as well. Pretty impressive the way they kept the traffic moving along on the various activities from wine tastings to ice cream, pony rides to strawberry picking. Hay ride to strawberry patch was was prompt and fun for kids. Pick your own area was REALLY huge and plentiful, especially if you walked to the far end where it was less picked over. The pony ride, bouncy house and corn kingdom a little underwhelming for our kids (8&11) but imagine it would have been amazing for the younger set. Would definitely return. Bravo Alstede Farms.
  • We went there yesterday and we all had so much fun. We as 4 adults and 2 little kids, kids love the animals on the farm, and they loved to ride on the big tractor to get to the picking field. Yes, I do agree it was a bit pricey for the admission and everything, but we had a great time. Unfortunately we got there so late, didn't get the chance for all the kids activities, to try the ice cream and wine tasting, and we even forgot to stop by the store to pick up some pie and fruit spread. Overall, it is a great place for family with the kids. Definitely will return for the next fruit or crop picking.
  • Very Nice experience on the Strawberry festival, very organized, my daughter's love it, specially the Pony ride, on my side i think is a little pricey for the all activity pass for the kids, is $17.99 per kids + $6.99 adults on weekends, imagine taking more than 1 kids, plus we spend on food, treats, and the strawberry we picked, we also have to paid for the carton basket big ones $2.00. I end up spending more than $130.00 ouch! One good side for adults is the wine tasting, super refreshing and Cheap just $5.00 + tax and you get to try 5 wines and to take Glass cup awesome!! overall i wil come back :)
  • My family has a fun day strawberry picking. The staff is friendly and professional. Free parking. Admission is charged and you still have to pay for the produce you pick. Admission gets you long hay rides to the fields that very far from parking. Free activities for kids are viewing, feeding and petting zoo, and a hay bale mountain. Food and farm produce for sale.
