  • We loved it and the history here. We walked the loop and it was well worth it. It's a flat walk and very enjoyable.
  • This attraction is very neat! They filmed some of the last scenes of the patriot here as well. Spend an evening here!
  • We stopped here on our way to North Carolina as part of our quest to visit as many National Parks as we can. This park has some great features! Be sure to watch the 18 minute film that describes the b...  more »

  • The electronic display in the visitors center gives you a good overview of the battle. The museum is small but nice. During the summer you cannot see much from the drive, but with a walk there are some good views and history.
  • We toured Cowpens Nat'l Battlefield last month, a day after walking Kings Mountain National Military Park. Cowpens NPS Ranger Roland B. gave a SPECTACULAR walking tour of the Cowpens battlefield-the pre & post history of the area, the actual battle history, characters, strategy, the battle's significance towards the winning of the Revolutionary War, and spoke to battlefield preservation & restoration efforts. We walked the ~1 mi. path with the Ranger as he brought the battle to vivid life with his thoughtful, well-prepared presentation. You could tell he really did his homework on it and was very able to answer all questions from the crowd. He faced us as we walked-that meant he walked the path backwards but he said it was out of respect for us as guests to the park and so we could hear him well. His was an exceptional effort-both smooth & enthusiastic! I was so thrilled with his professionalism and knowledge of the material that I asked him to sign the Gadsden Flag teeshirt ("Don't Tread On Me") that I purchased in the gift shop for a great keepsake. He described the battle from one end of the battlefield to the other, pausing for special points and questions, and at the end, released us to wind our way back at our own pace. Well done, Sir! The staff was helpful, the film well-made, the displays, markers, monuments & facilities excellent & well-kept.
  • One of the better revolutionary war battlefields that we have been to. The entire facility is nicely maintained with lots of information to tell you about the historic importance of this battle. Walking trails are wheelchair accessible and there is RV parking.
  • Great place to take my puppy and get in some relaxing walking and stress relief before going home after work. Awesome trails and nice friendly people.
  • This was a must see for us. Staff very friendly & informative, and lots of great history to be learned about here.
