  • Ever wonder what it was like to live in the Great Smoky Mountains hundreds of years ago? If so, the Mountain Farm Museum should be your #1 destination the next time you visit the Cherokee, NC area. From a small mountain cabin to a large barn, many structures have been transported from throughout the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and preserved here. See how our ancestors survived in the wilderness with the bare essentials. Be sure to allot several hours for the experience!
  • Great place. Old homestead with some animals. Beside river with a good walkway to enjoy nature. Very peaceful. Early morning and late afternoon good chance of seeing wild turkey and elk in the large field.
  • The Mountain Farm is great. Don't miss the piglets in the back corner! On weekends the living history presentations are a nice treat. Plenty of things to take photographs of.
  • Awesome interpretive museum about mountain live 100 or so years ago.
  • Been coming here for years and it only seems to get better every time!
